After working my regular 4 days, 12 hour shifts, I usually order Firehouse online before I leave work. Well... I ordered through Postmates, went inside, an sat down. I kept seeing people get their orders as their names were called. I never heard mine. About half an hour into waiting, I went up to the counter and asked about my order.
Who I'm assuming is the manager, told me, "Your order has been sitting here." Not thinking, I just said sorry, took it, and started driving home, speeding, because it was about 7:30pm and I was already in a bad mood from being tired from my 12 hour shift (I wake up at 3:40am). I got angry, thought to myself, "I should call them. At least see what they can do."
I ended up getting my sandwich re-made at no cost (I unfortunately decided to have them throw the old one away, I hate to throw food out). They were all super nice, explained what happened and why they didn't call my name out (because it could've been someone else's Postmates order).
In the end, I got my food, finally had dinner, and it was good. I was slightly annoyed but still happy. It was also my fault for not coming to the counter when I first came in, even though they were busy making sandwiches.. and didn't acknowledge I was...

I called to ask. The GM said it is what it is, stating computer won't allow it sometimes. She also never mentioned she could fix it or any other good will effort.
I'm going to miss this restaurant.
UPDATE: Thank you for the obligatory response. However, there is still no explanation why such a discrepancy on the receipts. Maybe it's time to get IT involved.

I called up there. The manager that was on duty was super rude and lied to me I asked to speak to the general manager the next day and got another manager who told me the general manager said she could not help me because I was not willing to drive back to the restaurant 35 minutes the same day after I got off work to replace a sub that they messed up and that there was nothing that they could do about it.
