Arby's — Restaurant in South Dixon Township

My boyfriend & I were shopping at Walmart and wanted some Arby's we were going to go inside but we had a cranky 3 year old in the car so went through the drive-thru. Was not very busy cashier was ok... we got home and had our food and I had a piece of plastic in my curly fries and you can tell they were not made fresh but sitting there. I worked fast food almost 15 years ago but you can tell the difference between fresh and stuff sitting. I was excited to try it as its been a really long time. Not sure if I will go back.. it was over $30 for 2 combos and then not to have it be amazing. Rather keep my money...

As Clara Peller used to say, "Where's the beef?" I love brisket. I love brisket sandwiches. But there's no meat on these sandwiches. I'm not paying for a big ole bun with a spritz of sauce and an ounce of meat. Plus, my bun was not toasted, and it had no crispy onion straws on it. And it's not just this Arby's. They're all miserly with the meat and toppings on their sandwiches. I'm paying 8 bucks for a sandwich, not a couple pieces of bread. And I know we came in soon before close, but drop since fresh...

I'm glad we finally have an arby's in dixon. It's been a dream of mine for many moons..however.. now generally newer places have the little bugs and kinks to work out so I'll be fair. The food has been ok, about 7 times out of 10 the food has come out hardly warm, orders have been messed up from time to time (which they made it right by giving me a free meal) the facility is new and clean and the staff has been nice for the most part. Overall it's what you expect for fast food but...
