Wings & More — Restaurant in South Dixon Township

Stopped in because my wife wanted chicken wings. When you walk in, you can tell it used to be a Chinese restaurant, the tables are still Asian themed tops and the overall paint and decor just looks like cheap Chinese. We were told to just pick a seat, we chose the "cleanest" looking table, the waiter brings menus over and says the table needs wiped down, someone "just left". While we were looking over the menu a gentleman at the next table was asking about his bill, and why he was charged separately for sauce on his wings. Sever told him that's just policy and was written on the "old" menu. Still having the menu infront of me, I looked and there was no mention of hint at an extra charge to sauce the wings. My wife just decided she didn't want to eat here so we just left without ordering. I think in the future I will just drive to Sterling and go to Buffalo Wild Wings - not always a fan of chain restaurants but at least you know what to expect and the sauce...

We were on Dixon and had read about this restaurant on the front page of the paper, we decided to check it out. Wait staff was very friendly as we placed our order. 20 minutes passed and another waitress approached our table to tell us they were out of most of what we ordered. Egg rolls, fried rice, beef broccoli. We reordered general tso chicken and bourbon chicken. The owner came to the table and said they could only make one of them because they were out of RICE!! What else did we want! There wasn’t anything, we wanted to try the egg roll and fried rice...not wings and French fries. Next thing the owner is turning off the open sign and announced they needed a break. What just happened here???? Never been before. Walked in, waitress literally thru plates on table without one word. We sat and waited. A young man limped over got us water. Started to leave, we asked for menus. In the mean time said waitress is standing texting on her phone. Again we waited.... young man with limp, he told us his Achilles tendon is hurting and he shouldn't be working. Okay now start to order and we are told since it is 9:00 and they close at 10:00 the only thing we could get from kitchen is wings! Really? I wanted the fried rice, that they are suppose to be known for, but it takes an hour to close before the close so no can do. We left.
