So I was at the front door waiting for a few minutes. I heard talking and thought they couldn't see me. Actually it was a table talking. The staff was NOWHERE to be found. I came at 4:59 pm on a Thursday evening. Only 1 table was there. After a few mins I called. They hung up on me. I don't know if they couldn't hear me or what. I waited 4 mims to be seated. Then I asked for water. After another couple of mins he brought me chips and salsa. 5 mins after my chips and salsa I still had no drink. Finally he came out of the kitchen and I asked for my drink. Okay so when I'm finally ready to order I closed my menu. He was over shortly. When I got my meal which was a #11 combo beef I ate my taco first. I cut into my enchilada and I see PINK meat. I then slice open my whole burrito and there's pink here and there. I get the server and he says it's because of the Chilli powder they put in it. He said many complain about it not being cooked but it's cooked for a long time. I was HIGHLY uncomfortable eating it so they made me chicken. Well I cut into my burrito and there are tons of green peppers. The enchilada tastes just like the burrito. There is nothing but chicken, green bell peppers, and onions in both and both covered in red sauce. Now, I HATE green bell peppers so it tasted gross. My server has not been back amd I got my meal 35 mins ago. I have been here for a total of 50 mins total and I wish I would have eaten at Arby's!!! Or the gas station. Don't piss your money away! Horrible service and undercooked beef. I will never be back. I filled up on chips and...
Read moreDespite a sign on the door about masks none of the staff were wearing any. Service was practically nonexistent - the two guys who were working the front seemed uninterested and just kind of mulled around. It was an hour or so before food came. Speaking of the food…if you can even call it that.. was some of the saddest I have seen in my life. My veggie quesadillas were mostly oil and tasted like the “plastic” fake american cheese slices (think super off brand kraft singles.) I ate half of one and almost immediately felt nauseous so I stopped. My boyfriend got a combo and the “beef” had to have been canned… it looked like barely cooked pink sludge.. not to mention that it smelled kind of like moldy spam. My boyfriend is basically a garbage disposal so when he won’t finish his plate you know it’s bad. We ordered drinks besides water and they never came - we were too annoyed and disgusted at the food to fuss about it. The only redeeming quality… I guess… was their house salsa and guac. THOSE were fairly decent… It took forever to pay our bill as well despite there being only a few other patrons. It felt like they were avoiding doing it.. it was just strange. Save your money and go elsewhere… NOT worth the $30 spent,...
Read moreThe place looks cool. Service was just ok. Waiter didn’t know the menu. They really need to add a better POS system because I noticed him adding our order up. If you’re the owner of this place why would you want that to be the case?
Also what the heck kind of cheese are they putting in their chiles relleno and queso fundido? Those are my go to dishes at Mexican restaurants but I have never had them with such gross cheese it was like goop. It was on par with a velveeta. I’m sure it’s a cost cut as queso fresco or chihuahua cheese must be more expensive.
The problem is they still charged like they used the good stuff.
Corn tortillas were also stale because I guess warming them up fresh to order is just too hard or something. Seemed like they warm them and just wrap them bad boys in a foil and leave them in a steamer or something all day. The edges of the tortillas were stale and too hard. An obvious corner cutting that doesn’t even save that much time. Comes off as a lazy move.
1 appetizer 2 sodas 4 tacos Two stuffed peppers (with the worst cheese ever)
$50. For that price they shouldn’t be cutting so many corners. If you’re reading this and considering dining here please know this isn’t some sour grapes review....
