Boba Tree — Restaurant in South Gate

First time trying out this boba place , good walking distance like 10 blocks away. We order 1 Thai milk tea , I love my Thai tea , I usually make it at home with the Thai tea leaf 🍃, 1 taro milk tea , 1 peach mango green tea and 1 order of Taiyaki. My honest reviews for this place, I tried different boba places from monterrey and Alhambra, and there are some great boba spots over there. But I live here in south gate, it is hard to find a good boba place. I saw that this place was getting good review, so I decided to come and give it a try, my Thai milk tea was like so so , all I taste is sugar no Thai tea flavor my brother like the taro milk tea , my mom love her peach mango green tea, the taiyaki was ok :) over all 3.6/5 remember this is my opinion, if you guys love this place come again, I will go again to try something different beside the Thai tea, I will update my review once...

Initial experience- store only had 1 customer, my mom wanted boba so we came here (hole in the wall place) it’s cute but no a/c just a fan near the front counter. We were not greater but the cashier just watched us and was like what drink do you want… my mom tried ordering and the girl was having “trouble” understanding her. My mom kept trying to tell her what she wanted and the cashier kept saying strawberry what when my mom said lemonade. Then my mom was limonada- since she was not understanding. Turns out she knows Spanish because after she got my mom’s order she shouts BYE to the customer leaving (freakin hurt my ears!) and she just kept rushing us… tbh not the best experience - stayed to write this review and probably won’t come again. Boba trees drinks are so good but the customer service is not it sadly :( went last night around 7pm and the lady working never acknowledged us I ordered through the self order and went to wait for my order and when I looked up my drinks were on the counter they never even let me know my order was ready and went straight to the back again to talk to her coworker, I didn’t feel welcomed at all I will not be coming back sadly that was just rude maybe a new rule with no contact?
