Carl’s Jr. — Restaurant in South Gate

I used to be a regular visitor of this Carl's Jr for the past 3 years. Today, I was very dissatisfied with their service with $6.99 Original Burger that I ordered together with Santa Fe $7.49 and $3.39 Large Fries. I was forced to make 3 entire trips from home back and forth. First, because they wrapped the burger with Big Carl wrappings instead of usual burger boxing. Second, they insisted the burger was indeed the Original Burger, but the appearance of the burger was that of Big Carl with single small patty that did not look like 1/3 LB from my past experience as well as with very small tomato that you can't even see without lifting and breaking the burger apart, not to mention there was only one tomato inside instead of two unlike in the photo. On my last come back to their drive-thru, they finally made the new Original Burger with proper tomatoes and boxing, without any apologies. This is the worst treatment as well as the product I was expecting from the fast food franchise that asks for very high price for their foods.

I specifically visited today because my father loved the Original Burger and wanted to eat it, after today's bad service, we were upset and decided to never use this...

Unbelievable experience, today I bought myself a hamburger at Carl Jr. sat down and then noticed a man probably a homeless man sitting quietly in the corner by himself. I went over to ask him if he would like a hamburger, he said yes he would and thank me .as I went to order the man who took my order said I shouldn't buy this man a hamburger because other people had complained about the homeless people. So I said that's too bad . he said he couldn't take my order for him?in shock I said , you're not going to sale me a burger because its for the homeless man? He didn't ask me ,I told him I offered to buy him one. I said that's discrimination... I said I would take it to him if he didn't. As Carl's takes there customers their food who eats there. He did . now my point being how much of a jerk that man was heartless inhuman idiot Jesus Christ himself was a homeless man I wonder if he would refuse him something to eat? I told the poor man not to listen to him and GOD bless him . I feel sorry for that Carl's Jr man the one who...

Had to grab something fast, coming back from Long Beach. Hungry. Stuck on a slow freeway... "Google, find nearest fast food," 3:30 pm off the 105 fwy. Carl's? ...fine, whatever. No customers at the time. So it was nice and quiet. I got the cheese burger. My wife got the chicken salad. My son, the chicken strips & fries. All the food was good and fresh... in fact, it took a little longer than most fast food places because it was made fresh and wasn't just pulled from sitting under a heat lamp for the last half hour. Maybe my burger was overcooked, but fast food safety concerns probably don't allow medium rare. I stopped eating at Carl's when they stopped the Turkey Cheese Burger, but I have to admit the char broiled burger was...
