Chiva Loca Express — Restaurant in South Gate

While in the area running errands, my daughters and I decided we wanted some birria to beat the cold. I saw this place had some good reviews and decided to stop by.

When we passed by, it looked small and quaint inside and there was no street parking up front. Immediately, my daughter saw a sign that said additional parking in rear. We get to back parking and not 30 seconds after parking in the empty handicap spot a man comes out of a house out back with a bad attitude...I'm assuming he's a tenant and tells me " te puedes mover un poquito"...mind you I was parked perfectly in the parking spot. I asked him, "este es el parqueadero del restaurante?" He responded "si, pero ya van a cerrar"...it was 6:45, I had seen on the site that they closed at 8...I proceed to tell him, "cierran a las 8"...which he then responds "pues apurese."

That interaction alone was enough for me to convince my kids for us to try somewhere else. I immediately felt unwelcome and rushed.
