HORRIBLE STORE!!!! BAD MANAGEMENT AND CUSTOMER SERVICE !!!!! FOUND A HELLO KITTY CHRISTMAS BLANKET AND THIS WHAT THEY DID !!!!! ⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️

I am a very frequent customer in that store! After work I go and shop at that location . So yesterday 11/14/24 @3:16pm , I’ve went and purchased some items and then, I spotted a hello kitty comforter in the back of the cashier . I’ve been looking for a hello kitty blanket for a very long time, so I’ve asked if I can put it on hold so I can get enough money and I was planning to purchase it later on before the store close for the day. The cashier asked around and her supervisor at the time said yes IN FRONT OF ME !!! A lady with a ponytail and had orange reddish hair , honored to put the item on hold. (*as I mentioned previously Ive always went to this location many times so I would usually put the item on hold especially if I didn’t expect the items being there but I’m willing to purchase the item . )They gave me a yellow note to put my name and I did. Excited I was , I went back home . I live 30-45 min depending on traffic so when I can back from the store before it closed , ive went in line and waited there for a good 15 min and when it was my turn to go up in line , I’ve asked the cashier about my item being on hold and she looked very guilty and told me the item was not there anymore and moved it to the sales floor. They didn’t even check they already knew what they did and purposely. So i asked for a manager and I’ve talked to the Lorena and it’s nothing that she can do “ supposedly “ . It was very frustrating that I’ve came from far away , wasting my gas and was very excited for something I’ve been looking for for almost 2 years and for just a “ it’s not here anymore “ . I’ve wasted my time and effort to come all the way far just to waste my time overall. And supposedly from the manager said , Marshall’s stores can’t hold any hello kitty items overall , it’s first come first serve .And that’s very idiotic of all of them because If it was like that previously from the time I was purchasing , I would've understood the policies and would find a way to purchase the items AT THE MOMENT. But they told me yes and I feel it should’ve been honored from the morning shift manager . And like I said previously, I’ve put items on hold especially if it’s the hello kitty items or any other items . Id Just needed time to get enough money to purchase the items . Overall they knew what they did and all I got back was some lazy ass apology. They put the item back directly to the sales floor . To be honest the lady looked very guilty so I wouldn’t be surprised if someone from the staff wanted it . So from my experience in this store , I give this store literally a thumbs down. If this is how the regulate people items then I wouldn’t trust your items being on hold especially if it’s from other “ popular brands” said the manager . Very very disappointed. especially since the holidays are around the corner and they want to get a gift for their kids or family members , this is very unprofessional and lousy of them on their behalf . The staff are very confused overall about the policies and don’t know how to communicate when it comes about items that are on hold or rules about it . This Makes people that wants to spend their money on this establishment, waste their time . It’s just a bad experience overall . Bad management. Bad staff. I would not recommend people to go shop here or to work here unless you want to be publicly humiliated and discriminated. I have gone a few times to this location I love Marshall’s but I do not tolerate employees being treated badly, I have seen in multiple occasions how the cashiers get yelled at by their managers in front of customers very unprofessional. On two of those occasions I have noticed it has been the same older lady with short red hair. I have worked customer service for many years and someone being yelled at while helping a customer has been the most unprofessional thing I have witnessed I felt truly sorry for that employee and I will no longer be shopping at a place like this. Visited yesterday and saw a lot of amazing deals at this Marshalls, clean store with friendly staff and surprising inventory at great prices. I don’t know if it was the time I went or what was going on, but I was blown away. COSRX, Beauty of Joseon, Dae products… tons of designer fragrance. A Dyson hair dryer?! Pelaton and Adidas items with original manufacturer price tags… Plenty of products in other categories. Would definitely come back and recommend...
