We pass the area frequently when visiting Grand Rapids. Since vowing to never set foot in another Popeyes (there is no more chicken to be found, only layer after layer of breading hiding under a bun, or a single chicken tender sliced into 3 strips, effectively giving you less than 1/3 of what you paid for previously.) Arby's in general still seemed to be trying to provide value.
The amount of meat on your sandwich has been shrinking steadily. The tomato slices get thinner or you only get 1. I always ask for no onions, but the last several times the onions were missing without me having to ask.
We were really hungry, and close to our final destination. There is a reason you call it "fast food." We walked in to this Arby's and were totally ignored. Not even eye contact. The woman behind the register was slooooooooowly counting a big box of coins. They were mostly pennies and nickels for a woman who wasn't a paying customer. No one came out to at least get our order going. Soon there were people behind us, also ignored. After 10-15 minutes, someone came out from the drive through window to take our order. At least the food tasted ok, even if it was suffering from Biden's "shrinkflation."
Heading back to Chicago, we were once again faced with the same dilemma- do we take a chance on Arby's or get something from Walmart that is ready to go?
We saw only 2 pickup trucks in the drive through, and were the only other vehicle in the customer parking lot. Walking in, the front of the restaurant was empty. All this fuss was going on in back, but we were ignored. Then the guy who waited on us a few days ago walked right past us with a small bag, to personally deliver it to what must have been a VERY important person in the pickup truck. No eye contact, totally ignored us, didn't say a word. There was no one at the counter. Then the next truck went through, leaving the drive through line empty. Again, he ran out with a small bag and totally ignored us. The restaurant was empty, the drive through was empty. We were totally ignored again. Both of us were dressed in plain clothes. Nothing that would offend anyone. As we left, we finally saw another car just pull into the drive through and everyone ran to serve that person asap.
I will NEVER stop at this Arby's again, nor will anyone I know. If your customer service has dropped to this level of low, I am sure others will be voicing their opinions by simply not eating...
Read moreBest, freshest food we have had since before Covid. The service and blonde lady that was running the drive-thru window is absolutely FABULOUS!!!!! Since covid began every fast food restaurant we have been to the food is luke warm if not cold and they mess up our order & do not make sure that all our food is in the bag, at times give our order to whoever else is waiting they go through the bag then find out it isnt theirs and the worker then brings it to us once germs from another car is all over the wrappers. But this Arbys is simply AMAZING and she even checked our bag to make sure everything was in it. The woman who waited on is the best fast food team member and deserves a promotion and pay increase. We most definitely will be giving this Arbys our business and spreading the word on how wonderful they are. KEEP UP THE...
Read moreThe guy that took our order and gave us our food was very friendly and nice and funny but that doesn't make up for the stringy disgusting brown disgusting lettuce, overcooked chicken. He encouraged us to do the survey. The QR code on the receipt opened up "notes" on my phone and put a strange string of numbers and letters on the note. The website for the survey wouldn't accept the store number I typed in, even after I removed the 0, it said to choose from the drop down menu but there was no drop down menu. Then when it finally seemed to work it took me to some unrelated website. Next I tried calling the coporate office and the automated system hung up on me. So mostly not a good experience. If it wasn't for the pleasant interaction with Lloyd and a good caramel shake I would...
