I'm not one to sit and write a wholehearted google review, but it's about time I make this. I loveeee the suya wrap, but they need to turn the spice down. I'm here fighting for my life trying to eat this wrap with my tongue on fire to the point of numbness and my nose running like crazy. Abeg there's some of us that can't handle spice like that and it ruins the experience of eating the wrap. I did ask once to make it less spicy if possible to which they were able to do(and I LOVED it!), but then yesterday, I asked for the same thing(and they confirmed with me twice to make it less spicy) and I swear they made it more spicy than they usually do, I literally had to take the suya out the wrap, run water through the meat in hopes that it will "wash" away some of the heat, to which it did, but am I going to have to do that everytime?
Also, I give it one star, not just because of the suya wrap situation but because of other factors like location(why is it located at an abandoned shopping center?), customer service(the rudeness, both in person and over the phone sometimes is actually alarming), lack of employees (with the cost of this food, I'm sure you can hire ATLEAST one or two more people to make things faster),wait time(how do you have people waiting 30-45 more mins for an order they made 30 mins earlier?), lack of communication, and food quality(although I personally have never ordered the french fries, the number of reviews I've seeing talking about fries tasting days old or like 'leftovers' is crazy).
If you guys even read these reviews, I say this with care, but your business is going to shut down if you don't take your customer's feedback seriously, you're running a business here, this is like the basics. As a fellow African, I look out for my own (with tough love, if needed) and I want this place to succeed as a business, but sadly, it's giving they're slowly giving up on themselves...
TLDR: Please add a MILD option(suya wrap) for some of us, I promise you will get more customers. Also please take into account the feedback from all these consistent...
Read moreThe food is truly amazing, but the service is horrible and I doubt I'll be back because of it. I always come and get their suya wraps but every time I come because I request no tomatoes they say they have to make it fresh which ends up taking over 40 minutes every single time I usually place my orders over the phone or online 30 minutes prior to when I plan to pick it up and yet I end up waiting close to an hour which is very frustrating.
I recently also tried to order a pan of suya for my party and when I spoke to the manager's husband, he gave me a price of $140 for a long tray which they consider medium, but it's not deep when I went to go pick up Saturday the manager which is the wife had now told us that they do not have that tray and that it's actually 200. I was very frustrated because you should have a consistency with your prices, especially if both you and your wife are running the business so I declined the order And was not able to get it for my party even when I told the wife I was declining she still didn't try to offer to bring the price down or negotiate or apologize for the miscommunication between her and her husband on the prices. I also would like to mention that I called 40 minutes ahead of my pick up time and spoke with the husband who still confirmed that the price was 140 and that it was the medium tray so that it could be ready when I got there and when I got there, they still told me that would be another additional 15 minutes because it was not ready And when I went to initially get the quote for the purchase, the husband told me to call 30 minutes ahead so that it could be fresh which I called 40 minutes ahead and it was not ready. if you're going to order from this place at least order an hour ahead and hope that it's ready by the time you get there for something as...
Read moreLemme tell you something, I just finished basically licking the oil off my plate when I decided I just needed to go ahead and write a review. This review is solely about the Suya Wrap although all the food I've ordered from Prime Grill has been straight. Okay, so first of all, if you haven't had the suya wrap yet, stop reading this and go order it- NOW!
Y'all, I don't know what God put in aunties hands to create this, but I'm actually hooked. Like, I would actually consider slapping my mom for one of these wraps... and she's Nigerian (so essentially willing to risk my whole life) lol! The suya inside this wrap is so tender and juicy and just good. There's onions in it and some purple stuff that idk what it is, but I also don't care because it's good and adds the perfect crunch to each bite. Then I think there's sauce inside the wrap but the sauce they give you on the side... babyyyyyyyyyyy! I need them to actually go ahead and trademark that sauce and start selling it because I could quite literally put it on everything.
I just don't know how else to say this suya wrap is good, but just believe me man. Now, the price be making my eyes get a little wide, but it's so worth it because the wrap is literally STUFFED with suya. I usually can only eat one half and I have to save the other half. I would have added a picture to this review but baby that thang is GONE!
But ima go ahead and stop typing before I make this review a whole novel, but yeah, get you one of them and tell them Sarah sent you so maybe I can get free wraps for a year hahaha-...
