Oneluv Reggae Cafe — Restaurant in Maryland

No one out front when I entered. That was ok while I looked over the menu until I looked up 5min later, still no one. Went to my car bc I forget money, came back and still no one until a young lady came out the bathroom and greeted me. I ordered brown stew chicken and asked for more cabbage than rice & peas. The young lady was having a hard time understanding. Kept looking at the register trying to put it in I guess. I’m thinking just yell in the back, especially with just us here. I finally said forget it. At 3:30p they didn’t have any cocoa bread and they did not have any bread pudding, so I got the red velvet cake at $7 a slice😦…fine.

This was my first time trying this place out. I went with my cousin who frequently gets lunch and dinner here. I’m vegan and I was pleasantly surprised they had some plant base options I could get made to order and not something that was already made. The chef personally came to speak with me on how I would like my food prepared. She was very attentive to my requests and was on point with my food. The food was authentic, nice and fresh. Literally. The customer service was amazing and the owner talked to every customer that entered their establishment; making sure we all were comfortable and pleased with their service. I came in Saturday and to check out this place due to me not being there before so when I walk in the young at the register does not know the menu so when I was giving her my order I wanted to order the conch soup the was in the menu for Saturday so when I requested that the young lady say’s to me what is that so reality she does not know the menu there and when I pointed to the item on the menu then she say to me I can not see that so I just ordered the jerk chicken so if you want to keep going on with the restaurant please have your staff learn the menu and have a better attitude this was a bad experience for me as I am a foodie but i will not request this to non of my...
