There's a quiet sort of magic in biting into something that silences the world around you--and at L'Boulanger Maison du Croissant, that moment came wrapped in warm, buttery layers of their Croissant Benedict Sandwich. I wasn't prepared for it. I expected "good." I got "unreal."

The croissant? Pure alchemy--golden, crisp, and shatteringly delicate on the outside, with a soft, chewy center that melted into the yolk of perfectly poached eggs and that silky hollandaise. If this was brunch, it was brunch in Versailles.

I paired it with a glass of fresh-squeezed orange juice that didn't taste like a menu item--it tasted like someone cared. Bright, tart, full of pulp, and served chilled to perfection. And just when I thought I had reached peak indulgence, the Nutella Iced Latte arrived. Cold, bold espresso with just the right amount of nutty sweetness swirling through it--more like dessert disguised as caffeine, and I mean that in the best way.

Now, here's the truth: the service could use a tune-up. Nothing major--just a little more warmth would go a long way in elevating the entire experience. When your food is this phenomenal, you want the human interaction to match.

The space itself? Intimate, minimal, a little chaotic during the rush--which only adds to the charm if you're into that "small French cafĂŠ colliding with local buzz" vibe. The scent of butter and coffee clings to the air. You'll want to linger, even if your table's already been claimed by the next eager customer eyeing your empty plate.

It's rare to find a place that does more than just feed you. This spot delivers something richer--a pause, a comfort, a fleeting escape from Miami's noise. I left already plotting my return.

If you're even remotely near this place, go. Order exactly what I did....

If you’re looking for the best bakery in Miami, family owned, full of heart, and absolutely next-level in flavor, @lboulanger_miami is a must-visit. Every single item I tried was incredible!

I came in expecting a great croissant, but I was blown away by how special everything was. I had an iced matcha latte with in-house pistachio cream (one of the most unique and balanced flavors I’ve ever had), the roasted turkey croissant sandwich with blueberry chutney (excellent quality turkey I might add. The combo was perfection—savory, flaky, just the right hint of sweet), and croissant waffles topped with the best homemade strawberry and blueberry preserves—the best I’ve ever tasted. Seriously, I’ve traveled a lot and never had preserves or jam as delicious. You can taste the love.

I also got a full dessert box (see photo!): • Dubai chocolate croissant • Ferrero Rocher croissant • Cheese danish • Blueberry danish (Homemade preserves)

And I have to mention their guava and cheese pastry. They really made it their own—not just by changing the shape, but with the flavors, quality, and especially the perfect ratio of filling to pastry. It was honestly the best version I’ve ever had: creamy, perfectly balanced, and you can tell they use top-quality ingredients. Every pastry was perfectly flaky, creative, and beautifully made.

But honestly, what sets this place apart is the family who runs it. Everyone was so sweet and welcoming, sharing stories and genuinely grateful for every customer. It’s clear they care deeply about their craft and the people who walk through the door. It made the whole experience even more special.

Highly recommend—this place is a Miami gem. Support local, you’ll be so glad you did! I will certainly be back and drive 90 mins just...

The place looks nice, the food was not that bad, but the customer service was awful, unprofessional to the moon and back, the server was in a hurry to take out order to the point we have to pay right after we place the order,,, not being enough,, this lady went inside and came back to tell us what my daughter asked for was out of order,,, and insist for her to get easy elaborate meals( she asked at first for eggs Benedict) but ended up getting maple croissant, after a few minutes came back again with the great news that they can’t make me what I ordered, because they are only 2 and the person that cooks was not there because is Monday and run about of picana as well, and told me “ coge algo más,, que complicada eres!!! to what I answered “ I’m not complicada, es que no tienes lo que estamos pidiendo del menú que nos diste “,,, she ran inside and came later telling me the found a picana but was frozen, y que si estaba yo brava todavía? Not to make this so long, we ended eating something else we were not in the mood to, we even asked for the drinks because we were almost finishing and the same lady went inside and never prepared the ice latte for my daughter and my cappuccino.. another person came and made it for us, I felt we totally wasted money and time today. Never offered a discount or something else to apologize for sooooo many inconveniences, I will be strong telling everyone we know not to come...
