McDonald's — Restaurant in South Milwaukee

This McDonalds location is much worse that most of the others. They have rude employees.. Fries are almost always cold... They charge you more for items than the menu board indicates... Here is part of a complaint that I sent to the WI Dept of Consumer Protection... "This (McDonalds) location advertises their Ice Cream Sundaes on their menu board for $1. It says : "Sundae Hot fudge, Caramel or Strawberry $1.00" I noticed on the screen they were trying to charge me more than that. I brought it to their attention. They said that hot fudge sundaes are not included for $1. I told them their menu says otherwise. The person in the drive through proceeded to argue about it saying that it doesn't matter what the menu says, the price is what she is telling me it is. She then offered to have her manager tell me that it is not $1. At this point I left without purchasing anything. They (This location) should be fined. Most people won't notice the extra charge when buying other food items for their families. They have been made aware of the situation and failed to rectify it. Not only did they not honor the price they has posted which is illegal, they also did not update the signage once notified. Under the law, both actions are fineable . After their actions, I can only believe they do this on purpose to deceptively charge people more money than they are entitled to, and this amounts to fraud and theft. I recently had the pleasure of visiting the McDonald's located at 2715 S Chicago Ave, South Milwaukee, WI 53172, and I must express my sincere gratitude for the wonderful experience.

Compared to another location in Cudahy, which unfortunately has raised serious health concerns, this South Milwaukee establishment stands out as a shining example of cleanliness and attention to hygiene. The difference is truly night and day, and it's evident in every aspect of the restaurant.

The staff at the South Milwaukee location takes pride in maintaining a clean environment, and it shows. Everything from the counters to the dining area was spotless, allowing my family and I to enjoy our meal without worry.

This commitment to cleanliness means so much for the South Milwaukee community. Our children can enjoy their favorite meals in a place that takes their health and safety seriously. In these challenging times, such dedication to maintaining high standards is both reassuring and commendable.

I want to extend my thanks to the management and the entire team at this McDonald's for upholding values that truly matter. You're not only serving delicious food but also setting an example that others should follow.

By far the worst experience I have ever ever had at a McDonalds. I was in the second drive through lane with 3 cars ahead of me. The first lane, closest to the building had 3-4 cars. Order taking was alternating between the lanes. All 3 cars ahead of me were assisted, as well as 3 cars from lane 1. I get up to the order speaker and get no response. 3 cars in a row are helped from lane 1, still no response to me in lane 2. I go inside, leaving my wife in the car waiting at the speaker. Speak to someone who identified as a manager that was a white female, 50's to 60's maybe 5'4 to 5'5 who has the audacity to yell at me telling me I should understand that from 3pm to 4pm they are busy and only had 6 employees, failing to see basic logic that yes, it was busy and yes, I waited in line for assistance but at the same time when I got to the order speaker after my wait I was then ignored while multiple cars were assisted from the other lane. My suggestion of closing lane 2 if it was so busy and she was understaffed was met with more argument. She then told me my wife had to move our car so others could order...while still ignoring our request to spend money at this...
