The taste of their food is spot on. A real delicious taste, but their prices have gone up tremendously over the years. 2 pieces of spam masubi used to be $3.50. Now it's $5+. Mini portions of food entrees used to be $7, now they're basically $9. Used to come here a lot, but not anymore for that price. Update as of October 2020: Food is still spot on but now they even jip you on the portions as well. My almost $9 mini spicy pork (photo) came with meat that could fill up about 2 tortillas. I guess you should always go for the regular size but I’m afraid even that went up in price to maybe almost $12. The added meat doesn’t look like a lot either for that much. I’m way better off driving to the Hawaiian place across the street from East LA Community College on Atlantic and getting a full on single meal that will last me lunch and dinner for $7. The place is called Ohana Hawaiian Island BBQ. It’s so good and they give you so much food and the environment is a nicer.

First time here. I don’t get the whole “Hawaiian bbq,” thing. It’s basically any spot that sells beef/pork,chicken with some sauce. Cold macaroni no’s not Hawaiian, Spam mixed in with other items is not uniquely Hawaiian. Menu says combo includes “any,” two meats…so I order bbq chicken with Spam…owner says with a cold, smug voice, “No Spam.” I said you said “any two meats, the menu says any two meats…” Still no Spam LOL! What a joke. The food was no better than any charred chicken spot with teriyaki sauce. Mac salad was bland. NO roll. The bbq with onions also bland. To top it off, I paid almost $16 for what is $10.99-12.00 elsewhere. Place was dirty. Hard pass on this spot.

Oh man there are so many great spots but this is seriously the best Hawaiian BBQ!! I’ve been coming here for years I hate going anywhere else. Their Masubi is fantastic. If you want Ahi burger they have it and it’s awesome. They also have great specialty rolls which is a major plus cuz I can get some sushi and Hawaiian at the same time. The owners are so humble and just always so kind to serve you and always smile and are very Courteous. I’ve never been disappointed. Big 3👍🏼’s out of 3👍🏼’s!!

Love love this place. Best hawaiian bbq food around the area. Price is ok food is delicious, and the workers are always nice. I get the BbQ combo and the dumplings.....the food is delicious and they have very generous portions!!!. I don't work around the area anymore so I don't eat there too often as I used to. I wish they had another restaurant closer to were I live but they're a pops & moms small business which I think is what makes it so authentic. I definitely recommend them, if you ever find your self in beautiful South Pasadena you have to make sure to stop by and try their...
