La Morena Family Restaurant — Restaurant in South Sioux City

I've been coming to this place since it was on west 7th. I always have the menudo. So for the first time we decided to use Doordash for delivery service. I was missing part of my order so I contacted la morena. Long story made short we decided to pick up the missing item and the food was cold like they found what was not delivered. Told them and we had to wait for them to make it again. It was very inconvenient to have to drive out there and still have to wait for them to make it right, when we didn't want to drive hence the reason why we used Doordash.. eat in is great, will not be requesting...

O.M.G. ya'll. The food looked good, tasted good, service was good, prices were good, tables and bathrooms were clean. 2 of my friends had the chimichangas and they said they were delicious. Our waitress was patient, sweet, sincere, on top of refills and everything. We all tipped her well. The salsa is amazing! It is a bit spicy, so if you can't handle spice well you have been forewarned, but I love it. A table of 6+ has an automatic 15% gratuity..which is less than the 20%+ that I always try to tip and I made sure I did. Don't hesitate to...

I don’t spend a lot of time in south Sioux(I grew up in Sioux City, eating at the blue dell),and we decided to come thru and eat some Mexican. The first place we went refused to serve us and we waited patiently, and it wasn’t busy...... we decided 2nd place it, and man, we hit a winner! Homemade tortillas to die for, the soup was great and I had an amazing torta and chili relleno.... service was quick and polite....... I’m glad we chose you.
