Specifically, I went to this bakery because multiple listed advertisements state that the bakery offers gluten-free options. Showed up on Sunday, hoping to grab a gluten-free treat for my friend, only to be told they weren't making them that day and don't always make them. Please don't advertise that you offer gf items if you don't always have them. I live 2 hrs away and specifically went based on what your website provided. I did not look at the menu provided through the additional link on your website. However, I did not magically come up with the idea that gf options were available out of nowhere. The website still says that gf and other dietary restriction items are provided. I have screenshotted information from your website as an example. 3 stars is not 1 star. Read moreThe Honey Bean Bakery & Coffee Cafe is a light filled and warm nook of a space that is filled with the delicious aromas of coffee, tea, and a case full of amazing cinnamon rolls, cupcakes, cookies, and whatever other baked delights are available that day - always something that can be checked in advance via their Facebook page. The owner and her staff are always exceptionally friendly and helpful. They are very often at area festivals and are in high demand for their focaccia bread, sugar cookies that are made in several different sizes and beautiful designs, among other treats. I also am a big fan of their stickers, small business coffees, chocolate, and other treats that are packaged...
Read moreAnother quality coffee shop/ bakery. The food was excellent and they do have gluten free options but the owner was transparent that cross contamination can occur which is definitely appreciated. People with Celiacs can’t have that. The atmosphere is extremely book strong which is not a bad thing, the only issue is with so many books comes a higher need to clean the books and floor which was a little behind. Parking is a challenge at this cafe as well. We parked down the street at a church and walked a quarter of a mile to and fro because the lot was full when we arrived. But the walk was worth it. Good cafe, best wishes on...
