Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in South Whitehall Township

I love going to this location. They accommodate everything I need diet wise. They also are the only location out of 6 different ones I have visited from feasterville to St Clair that had consistentcy, until recently. I stopped here twice in the same week. The order was 50+ for 2 people and 90+ for 4 people for gluten free food. A bit expensive and overpriced in my opinion. Especially when you dont want a roll. But still pay Gluten free price upgrade. Which makes no sense. The second problem is paying for double meat on an Italian gluten free and no bread. You get charged 28.00 for a large bowl of meat and lettuce. Drive home an hour to find out double meat is just a bunch of chipped ham on top of an Italian. What a disappointment that was. Unfortunately it was the same employee who gave attitude and messed up the order several days earlier. It seems when the manager is away this particular employee really doesnt care. Maybe he should be in the unemployment line. Because I took pride in my job doing labor in construction for 4.25 an hour. Unfortunately this Jersey mikes location is completely inconsistent. I have visited and ordered delivery often enough to know. INCONSISTENT! I ordered the exact same thing that I ordered last visit. I loved it. Tonight, the sandwich hardly had lettuce tomatoes and onion. My husband's sandwich didn't have any onions and he requested extra. To add insult to injury, they neglected to send drinks and chips. If this had been a one time thing, I could let it go. But you never know what you are going to get with the Allentown franchise.

I typically get a Tuna sub from Jersey Mike's and it's excellent. Tuna can be hit and miss at alot of places, but it's always been great here. If you like your food with some spice, try it with their cherry pepper relish and banana peppers. The Rosemary Parmesan Bread is delicious. I can't comment on their other sandwiches because I don't think I've ever had any of the others. The service is always excellent at my local store. Ordering from the app is easy, but it would be nice if they allowed you to order different kinds of chips with your sandwich. On the app you can only select Lay's chips and those are just not very good. One other thing that would be nice is if there was a way to add Black Pepper to your sandwich, there's a place to add salt, but not pepper.
