"Alright, buckle up for this culinary tragedy. Went to Sun Sun expecting a decent meal, but boy, was I in for a rude awakening.
Let's start with the chicken abomination they dared to call General Tso's. If General Tso was real and could have tasted this dish, he'd declare war on this restaurant faster than you can say 'dried-out poultry.' The chicken - if you can even call those sad, stringy bits 'chicken' - was so dehydrated it could've been used as jerky in the Gobi Desert. It was like they time-traveled to last week, grabbed some leftover chicken, beat it with a mallet for four hours, then deep-fried the poor soul into oblivion. Tiny dough balls outnumbered the actual meat 10 to 1. General Tso is probably spinning in his grave, plotting vengeance from the afterlife.
The shrimp mei fun was the dish equivalent of a participation trophy. It was... there. Light, mild, inoffensive - basically the wallflower at a flavor party. But hey, at least the shrimp hadn't been mummified like their chicken counterparts. They actually had some moisture left, which at this point felt like a culinary miracle.
If you have a burning desire to taste disappointment and crushed dreams, by all means, order the chicken at Sun Sun. Otherwise, stick to the seafood and pray to the culinary gods that the chef remembers that food should actually have some semblance of edibility. General Tso, I'm sorry for what they did to your namesake. You...
Read moreI have been coming here for at least 28 years. It was my go to Chinese restaurant even tho it was out of the way. Always worth it. They had wonderful veggies that other places didnât have and their fried dumplings were the best. Their son took it over and his friends have taken over the when you order, if they will put their phones away. The food is not the same at all. The fried dumplings seem to be either a frozen kind, or the dough is extra thick and no longer my favorite one for sure not worth something I will buy as an add on. I used to buy the dumplings from what I was having for lunch and chicken mixed vegetables combo for dinner so worth the money even tho the extra money. Not anymore, I am looking elsewhere. I have been talking to friends lately and they are all saying the same thing. I really hope that their son can get things together soon it was always extremely busy and the best place. I would hate for...

The quality of food and amount ( ratio to rice/protein) has diminished greatly. The crab Rangoons ( crab and cream cheese ) have gone from maybe 3 tablespoons of crab mixture to a nickle size of cream cheese and salt no crab .. picture to follow. Their egg rolls used to be so good now theyâre just filled completely with white cabbage barely no pork or seasonings tasteless! Also picture to follow.
