Read moreAbsolutely recommend. We showed up late on Sunday afternoon, and as soon as we entered, we were greeted by Mimi, the gracious owner. Very clean, comfortable, and immediately put at ease with drinks showing up almost as soon as we ordered. Mimi patiently answered all questions, and explained all ingts we asked about. We had a very nice waitress as well, by the way. 3 adults ordered different dishes and child had cheeseburger and fries. My son took one bite of his order, and swooned; stated very loudly, he had been wanting his order ever since returning from his service in Iraq. Stated his meal tasted exactly the same, and couldn't stop praising how much he loved it (between mouthfulls). Needless to say, we all left, well fed because the portions were not skimpy and so tasty. To Go boxes were necessary. We did not leave as soon as we finished which is the norm at other establishments, as my son then proceeded to have a rather long conversation with Mimi, going over his food experiences with the local cooks in Iraq, as well as some of his experiences (the nice ones) with the civilians. I cannot say enough good things about our "find" and will recommend to all. Definitely my go to eating establishment. THANK YOU, Mimi...
Read moreI cannot say enough great things about the Family Platter from Pita Mediterranean Grill in Southaven! From the moment we opened the container, the aroma alone had our mouths watering. The portion size was incredibly generous—perfect for feeding the whole family and still having leftovers.
The meats were perfectly seasoned and grilled to perfection—tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. The chicken and lamb were both standouts! The rice was fluffy and aromatic, the hummus was creamy and fresh, and the tabbouleh had the perfect balance of herbs and citrus. And don’t even get me started on the warm, soft pita—absolutely delicious.
What makes the experience even better is the atmosphere. The owners and employees are incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely care about their customers. You can tell they take pride in their food and service, and it really shows. They made us feel like family from the moment we walked in.
Everything tasted homemade and authentic, like it was made with love. Whether you’re feeding a big family or just want to try a little bit of everything, this platter is 100% worth it. We’ll definitely be back for more—and not just for the food, but for the amazing people...
