The $1.99 margaritas are awesome every day from 12:30 - 5:30pm. The food is always good, hot, and timely. The servers are nice and attentive. Restrooms and floors are generally nice and clean. Atmosphere and music and very pleasant.
My husband and I started going to the older (now closed 😥) Mi Pueblo down the road on Elmore 20+yrs ago, before we had even met each other. We began going to this one because it was closer to my parent's house and sister's house and they could meet us there. It's his favorite restaurant so we go here for most of his birthdays. They are small, but can accommodate a large party, and they sing you a song, put a sombrero and a smash of whipped cream on the birthday guy/ gal.
We suggest the super Mi Pueblo quesadilla, fajitas, Chile relleno, chips and salsa, cheese dip, chimichangas, etc. My Mom swears by their chicken soup when she is ill. My sister swears by their extra large margaritas when you are down or celebrating. Our kids love going there, but it's also nice, with tall backed booths, for intimate dinners with you and...
Read moreMe and my family went here today. I ordered the chicken cheese and rice and the rice was very gummy and I asked them to fix it over with different rice or at at least cook where the rice wasn’t so gummy, they still used the same rice and once I said take it off my ticket I was forced to pay for something I wasn’t going to eat!! This place does not care about their customers nor satisfying their customers. I would not recommend going there. The manager even came out and I told me I had to pay because he cooked it and he knows it’s good!!! Then my husband ordered that steak you see in the picture and he asked for it to be cooked medium and it came out cold and was cooked well done!!! Asked them to remake that and they just ignored us!!! The waiter showed us no attention and we sat there for hours to be missed treated. It was a very awful and racist...
Read moreWe eat here all the time but tonight was horrible. I invited two of my friends to dine and we have never eaten horse but we all imagined the Ribeye we ordered tonight gave us a really good idea of what a horse might taste like. All of our steaks were so tough, we almost needed an emergency dental appointment. The manager, Jose, was called over to address the matter. Instead of apologizing he was combative and told us people eat the steak all the time and never complain. I told him maybe no one complains to his face which is the big difference. I even tried to get Jose to cut the steak so he could see how tough it was but he refused. Jose just walks away without apologizing or anything. There needs to be a day set a side for customer training for management and enlightenment on the textures of...
