I've been eating Lennys for over 15 years and love the taste of their food. For the last year we have consistently ordered weekly from this particular lennys and frequently have issues with our order but continue to order bc we love the taste. We usually order online and pick up for dinner so it is closer to their closing time. If they are out of something they will make substitutions or just leave it out completely even if you pay for it. I've had issues with them providing next to no meat on their sandwiches I presume bc they run out so the next time I'd order extra meat and still don't get it. Many times they just leave out a veggie you ordered or change white bread to wheat bread when they run out. The issue is not that they run out necessarily even though as frequently as they run out of stuff they could plan better in making more, it's that they don't write on the receipt or tell you the substitutions they chose to make so you pick it up thinking youre getting what you pay for and get home to be disappointed. The Lennys on Shelby drive is a lot more consistent with things so I guess we'll be driving a little farther for the consistency. Extremely rude customer service and the second time they have messed up my order. So I ordered a classic salad so I checked my bag in the car before leaving and realized they once again have given me a chicken salad completely different order. So I go back up there and I didnāt even have an attitude with the cashier who made it and I told her it looks like tuna in my salad and thatās not what I ordered , she replied loudly with an attitude and said first off thatās not tuna , we donāt serve tuna here at all , thatās a chicken salad thatās what you ordered I repeated to her thatās not what I ordered i ordered a classic salad and gave her my receipt. She fixed my food with an attitude I almost wanted to ask for a refund and the fact the manager was standing right there and heard everyone and did not do anything about it says a lot about how they run the establishment. The service and atmosphere were top tier and the two young men were very welcoming and professional; however, the food was not up to par. We ordered two GIANT combos (Mile High Turkey & Hot Italian Sub) with chips and Passion Fruit Lemonade since it would serve as dinner and work lunch for the next day. I should have checked our order but I got distracted by a call from my doctor. Nonetheless, not checking was on me as I was at a different location. I don't have any problems at our regular location.
The first 10" parts of the Mile High Turkey order were fixed to my wife's liking, but that last 5" was like it was just thrown together.
Now that Hot Italian Sub looked nothing in the picture. The picture showed sliced meat like you would get from the deli, but my sandwich had diced meat, my toppings were non-existent, and I only received 10" of my 15" order.
The chips were just like any other chips you would get out of the bag.
