My favorite place, thank goodness they reopened and now in Southern Pines. The chips are perfectly cooked and salted and salsa is perfectly blended and spiced. Very fresh. Love their mole (Aztez ‘molli’) from when they were in Aberdeen. Not on the menu but ask for it and it is mole carnitas - yum. Comes from the region south of Mexico City. The servers are attentive, pleasant, and down to earth; genuine. The music was hip reggaeton, not the traditional music every other place has. Currently has an older customers-base because their established reputation from before, but once they are discovered with the military-community and newer transplants to our area, they will be ‘discovered.’ Delish.

First stop in tonight and definitely not our last! Food was delicious and staff is so friendly. Everyone enjoyed their food but I was very undecided on what to order. Asked our sweet waitress her favorite and she recommended Chicken Link. Y’all when I say it was good - it was GOOD! We had flautas, burritos, quesadillas and guacamole too - all amazing. The flour tortillas were so good too! 10/10 recommend

La Poblanita is by far the best Mexican restaurant in the area. My husband and I visit once (or twice) a week because they have the best food and the service is excellent. The prices are excellent. Very good cocktails for around $10 and everything we have tried on the menu has been delightful and fairly priced. On our last visit, the sweet waitresses offered us churros since my birthday had just passed!

We were excited to try based on the reviews, however, it was overall a very lack luster experience. My burrito was cool in its center, the enchiladas lacked any real standout flavor, chips were extremely greasy and the margaritas...the worst I have ever had. So much salt outside and in, and the ratio was nowhere close to how a margarita should taste. I thought it was mixed fresh but appeared to have some sour mix or some pre-squeezed lime juice added. Neither of us finished the drinks or the meals. Service was alright and the young wait staff were friendly, got the orders right and checked on us a few times. Price was on par for Mexican food in general. I often try to give places two visits but with so many things amiss, I would much rather try one of the...

BEYOND DELICIOUS. This place is the Mexican restaurant I’ve been searching for. The chicken link dish is excellent. The sauce was tasty, the chicken was cooked perfectly- moist and tender, just perfect. The dish came with refried beans that were super hot and cheesy. The cheese was cotija- no cut corners with shredded mozza. The corn tortillas were heated just as my grandma would have heated them, with a little oil. I am scouring the area to choose where to move and this place makes me lean towards Southern Pines, it’s that good. I haven’t had salsa like theirs in decades. It might be the best I’ve had ever. Definitely...
