Never ever go to the one on Greenfield in Southfield, MI. Yesterday, I went in and there were two workers - not sure of their names, one bald, black guy and a white guy. The black guy served me (I'm black too so its nothing against him, just being specific). First I ordered a pasta and 2 personal pizzas and it came to $25 and some change. I give him 40 and he gives me 4 and some change back. When I mention he did not give me the 10 he says he did. He did not give me a receipt. He gives me the pizza- its one personal sized pan and a $6 pasta. He says you only ordered 1 personal pizza. I say so why was it a little over $25. Oh he cant explain. One guy is just backing the other up like yeah he gave you a ten and 1 personal pizza and a lunch pasta was $25, like they cheat people all the time. What happened to listening to the customer and checking to see if you got it wrong instead of looking at your buddy like I think I got his order right yeah I think you did too. And they have a paper on the box with an order number but the receipt or what was ordered like you usually get on the box so they probably knew the order was messed up. So I would've left because thieves can only take your money so many times but there's a little girl at home that I barely see that had her heart set on the cheese pizza from here because she had it last time she was here. So I order from the other guy 1 cheese personal pan pizza. He asked do I want a junior cheese pizza which is more kiddy sized and I say no I want the personal pizza. So he charged me for and gave me a junior sized. So he didn't technically cheat me at this point. I just was too frustrated to notice that after clarifying, I was charged for the wrong sized. I had to get out of here. I'm generally too polite because if I would've been one of those rude curse you out and get loud type of customers, they probably would have at least acknowledged that they screwed up multiple times. Maybe it hit him at the end of the night when his drawer was over from stealing...
Read moreFirst time there staff was rude looked at us crazy like they never seen ppl before as we're trying to figure out what to order. Went up to place an order to the cashier who just took my friends order. She looked at me and walked away. I can sense she have an attitude. I waited for about a couple mins. She came back and said "so what would you like" as I'm placing my order she cuts me off and gives me a price I said "I'm not done yet". I began placing my order and she still have an attitude. She comes over with our food. Don't bring us plates or anything. Then I mentioned I'm going to ask for plates she comes over and asked if we need plates..now we have 10 ppl 3 family's with kids we have 2 deep dish pizzas 1 salad and 4 basket of wings you shouldn't have to ask if we need plates and silverware. A family came in 15 mins after we sat down. They were given the parmersan the pepper and plates as soon as they sat down. My friend went up there to ask for some. they gave us some OLD EXPIRED PARMESAN IN PACKETS...when she came with the plates she basically slammed them down on the tables as well as our silverware. It took EVERYTHING IN ME NOT TO GO OFF ON HER. All I could think of were the kids. I have a 3yr old daughter with special needs. My nephew was visiting us as well as the other family kids. I knew if I went there it probably would've resulted in a fight. So I prayed about it and asked to be guided in a way that wouldn't affect the kids and their family. So I had my husband talk to the manager about it. And he sincerely apologized for her behavior. And said he's gonna talk to her about how she handled our party. As we were leaving I seen him talking to her so I honestly hope he did but we will NOT be going...
Read moreThe manager Tammy at the Southfield store is horrible. Totally disrespectful. Unreasonable. One of the worst customer service experiences ever, and the absolute worst from PizzaPapalis. My mom is 82 years old and I've been getting her bourbon Wing flats from PizzaPapalis for years. She loves them, and they're easier for her to handle and eat than the drums are at times.
After being rude and disrespectful and telling me that they have never done exactly what they've been doing for my mother for years, and what has been one of her favorites through the pandemic, she then hung up on me.
I even tried to deescalate with her and to get her to just stop the rudeness even if there had been some change and she wasn't going to be able to fulfill my request, but she said she had a reason to do it and she was justified and then she was basically bothered because I'm telling her about what's been done for me for years, and they have never done that. Total and absolute contempt for a customer who was even being extra polite, because this was food for my mother I was trying to have prepared. Unbelievably rude, and abhorrently disrespectful behavior from Tammy - the PizzaPapalis Manager in Southfield.
