This is basically a coney island pretending to be fancier than it is.
When we arrived it was busy on a Saturday at 10am, it was busy, but had a scattering of open tables. We were seated promptly.
They offer barista coffees and we ordered 2 large iced Americanos, these took some time as the single barista was very busy, but the coffee we finally got was the highlight of the meal. I hope this barista is paid well she was the MVP of the restaurant.
The other waitresses were all basically running, for what seemed like no reason adding an anxiousness to the restaurant that felt unneeded, there were always open tables. The waitress that took our drink order was not the waitress that took our food order, and we never got the water we asked for.
Twenty minutes after ordering our food it arrived and was hot and looked appealing, but that was all surface level.
I order the brisket burnt ends skillet and there were maybe 4, end of your finger sized pieces of meat in the whole meal. The potatoes were somehow burnt and undercooked at the same time, and the whole dish had zero seasoning. The salt and pepper I added at the table barely saved it.
My fiance ordered the corned beef hash and eggs, which also was lacking in the name sake of the dish, corned beef. It contained maybe 15 dime sized pieces of corn beef, again under seasoned, but her hash browns were cooked well.
She also ordered the cheesy grits, which were just instant grits with some barely there shredded cheddar cheese thrown on the bowl, which most of it was stuck to the rim, clearly melted from whatever microwave they pulled it out of.
The saving grace of flavor of the meal, were the pancakes they offered as a side, which were absolutely packed with flavor 9/10.
We ended up spending about 38 dollars, which is kinda fair. But also about 25% higher than coney island prices. Which we could of went to for the same experience.

Read moreIT'S TABLE 14! Is what I hear being shouted in the back kitchen 1 hour into my girlfriend and I siting at a table with our 1st glasses of water empty with any hope of a refill coming from the melting ice in the cup.
Full story Arrived at 12:00 and it was busy and we were told 30 minutes for a table. 100% fine with that time frame and we got seated within 10 minutes so a great start. We both start with waters and the waitress brings them and walked away without asking if we were ready to order. 15 minutes go by and she then ask for our order and we put it in. 12:20ish at this time. All good still because we got seated so quickly and she seemed busy so completely understand. At 1:15 we hear from the kitchen that's table 14 promptly followed by our order being called out. 1 hour into getting our first water we got a refill and were told the kitchen was working on our food, no apologies for the wait or anything of that matter. We get our food about 10 minutes after the shouting and it looked very good with the eyes but was very bland and overall wet.
I ordered the Monte Cristo and the raspberry jam cup had enough jam to lightly drizzle on the sandwich barely enough to coat the bottom of the cup it was served in. The ham had no flavor and the French toast was basically a thick Texas toast dipped in egg with no flavor. My girlfriends food also lacked flavor and the only saving grace was the biscuits and gravy.
Overall food was mid at best Service was not existent until the very end of service 1.5 hours into the 2 hour process.
Things to improve on: get rid of some of the items on the menu. There are 113 bolded items on the menu with various substitutes for some of the items I got bored waiting to put in the order so I counted. Also don't door dash at these locations your getting plenty of business in person it seems but your kitchen staff can't handle it from what...
Read moreDO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!!! DOOOOO not go to this location and eat anything! Is the Fourth of July. We ordered the goat salad and the jersey burger. The GOAT SALAD has arugula That has brown ends as though it’s going BAD!. ASKED To add cucumber, the cucumber is browning As if to be going bad or left in the fridge overnight and not properly wrapped up because it was old produce in the first place! The Jersey burger comes with green pepper, onion, avocado, Chèvre cheese, mushroom. I I ordered my jersey burger with no cheese, and no bacon .Take a look at these pictures. Do you see any green pepper onion or really any mushroom on here? These people should be ASHAMED of themselves letting food go out like this! These little small location businesses are only in it for a short time to make as much money as possible because they know they’re gonna close down soon because of poor food quality! This place hasn’t been up that long to be making these type of mistakes! And there’s no length of time IN BUSINESS where you should not be serving food properly! Whoever the kitchen manager is allowing food to go out horribly made, and the presentation is appalling SHOULD BE LET GO IMMEDIATELY! I will never go back to this place again as long as I Live! To the management and owners of this company, you all should be ASHAMED of yourselves! For not taking the time to find out what’s going on in the name of your business to gain your reputation with its customers! It’s shameful and ridiculous and you need to not do this type of business if you cannot provide the service that it says! You want to charge these high prices and give us next to...
