We always like picking up a salt bagel from here. However, today we were surprisingly shocked! Called to place our order (because you can’t order at the drive-thru window anymore, must call ahead) was on hold for 13min, when we pulled up we were still on hold and she told us we have to call ahead.. that’s funny. We placed our order with her and waited for our food. When picking up our food, we were missing our drink and side of cream cheese, we noticed an employee DROP A BAGEL AND PUT IT ON THE COUNTER NEXT TO ANOTHER BAGEL! We let the employee know that got us our side of cream cheese that we just witnessed that and wanted her to know, she told us “there is no way that happened, we throw everything away that we drop” we told her we just saw this girl drop the bagel and put it on the counter.. she rudely said “okay…bye.” And shut the window on us. I then called the store and asked for the manager.. the phone was given to the “Owner”. She was very rude and said they are so busy and they try their best.. WHAT!? She did not acknowledge the rude employee OR the employee that picked up a bagel from the floor. WILL NEVER GO...
Read moreI am obsessed with this place! I used to go to the one in Shallotte to get the Black Russian bagels (with molasses baked in, yum), but now that we have one here in Southport i have discovered they have a large variety of things to choose from. I love the sausage egg and cheese bagel for breakfast (big and gooey). I love the ham club on marble bagel or egg. My favorite is their cheeseburger on an Asiago bagel. It’s a thin burger, so the cheese and tomato can become the main attraction. If you are not a bagel fan, they do have flats, bread and i think i saw a wrap. There is a variety of cream cheeses to try, like blueberry or butter pecan. The potato and macaroni salad is the kind made with sour cream. You can buy deli meat or cheese from them as well. The staff is exceptional. I’ve been a nosey Nelly and watched the workers in the kitchen, they are pros as well....
Read moreWhen they first opened I saw they had styrofoam cups and I never wanted to go, then I took another look at the reviews and saw that they upped their game and now use environmentally sound coffee cups and packaging. So, we went to go try this place out and boy are we glad we did. From breakfast to lunch this is the place to get a snack. You walk in and the Beautiful smell of fresh baked bagels permeates the air. You can get a variety of different cream cheeses or toppings for bagels and they have a lot of very hard working friendly people employed there. We absolutely loved it! We enjoyed eating our Bagels outside and had one little piece of wax paper and one little piece of tin foil left over. Highly...
