If you’re looking for a vibrant, refreshing, and family-friendly spot to grab an incredible smoothie, The Protein Jungle in Sparks is the place to be! From the moment you walk in, you’re transported into a jungle-themed oasis with netting on the ceiling, like something straight out of a Latin American jungle. Their monkey mascot gives off serious Donkey Kong vibes, adding to the fun and energetic atmosphere.

The menu is stacked with fruitful and flavorful blends. The Ryberry Rhino is bursting with strawberry, blackberries, and banana, while mine—a cucumber lime with Tajín—was everything I was looking for: refreshing, tangy, and absolutely perfect. Jessica’s smoothie was very berry, very banana, very, very fruity—so much so that it needs a name of its own!

One of the biggest highlights? They love dogs, and we love them back! They welcomed our pup with open arms, which always earns bonus points in my book.

Luis and Stephanie, the amazing couple behind this spot, truly have it down—watching them work is like watching true smoothie artistry in action. Their energy is as fresh as the juice, and their vibe is nothing but vibrant!

This is a place from Heaven! If you’re someone who eats healthy and focuses on protein, you will be in love! And if you don’t focus on healthy or protein, this is the place that can change your life! Eating healthy here tastes better than eating most anything else, anywhere else. They use great brands, like Herbalife, to get you the vitamins, electrolytes and protein you need! Their foods are super creative, colorful and they always have something new to try! I never feel like crap or de-energized after having a meal here! They offer protein coffees, protein teas, protein shakes, Protein waffles, protein crepes (with choices of banana, strawberry, and Nutella), protein pods (hot sourdough sandwich-like things filled with cheese, ham, etc- amazing!), protein açaí bowls with granola and fruit… and the list goes on and on! I was traveling Westbound on I-80 and saw the business. The Protein Jungle did not disappoint. Immediately walking in, I was greeted with a welcome and a smile. It made me feel like I belonged and wasn’t just another customer. The decor matches the name, so the theme works. Stephanie was excellent! She first asked if it was my first time visiting. I told her it was. Stephanie then explained each of the products to me, which was awesome. On that particular day, I ordered the Go Nuts and the chunky monkey. Both items were delicious! Protein Jungle also has a loyalty card; after nine purchases, the tenth is free. The loyalty card is just another reason to return. Stephanie and Luis are fantastic, and the products are unique.
