BIGGBY COFFEE — Restaurant in Sparta Township

Pretty nice Biggby location! The cafe is pretty small, but it's usually well-kept. The customer service is just OK.. There's a couple outstanding employees, who are always super friendly and helpful (which I greatly appreciate). However, most employees tend to always just rush you right through the drive through, and not really engage with their customers, sadly. A few things that are bothersome: Pretty expensive compared to other cafes. So going to Biggby is really turning into a "payday treat" or luxury item.. Next: they NEVER give you your total while at the speaker, after placing your order, so you're always fumbling and guessing how much it's going to be. They always just tell you to "pull ahead." Second, they never ask you for your Biggby card when paying. Next, when you order an extra hot beverage (meaning they heat up your milk for your lattes past the usual temp), they never put a sleeve on your latte, so you end up burning your hands. I know that employees are taught to only give out sleeves when a customer asks, but there's an exception to extra hot latte requests, and they're SUPPOSED to put a sleeve on it automatically. I know these are nitpicking things, but it just drives me nuts, and over time, I've started to take my business elsewhere for these very reasons. Don’t go here in Sparta.. if you have questions about your order and don’t think it’s right .. they will get snotty and argue .. have an attitude tell you you are ridiculous . Get the order wrong . Then try to charge you more money to fix your order … I cannot even believe the poor treatment to customers!!! Wow. I asked the girl at the window what the managers name was and she said I can’t tell you and I said that’s fine I’ll be up here to talk to the manager and I said who is it and with her she waved her head around and said my mom actually with an attitude. Literally telling customers that we were yelling ?! And that we were ridiculous. What because we asked questions about out wrong order ??? Def not yelling . Horrible service! I normally order just coffee (no cream no sugar) but today I had a free drink for my birthday. So I ordered a mocha mocha. While sitting waiting for the drink I realized I didn't say almond milk. So I wave to the girl at the window and asked if milk was used in making the drink. She said yes and I explained I needed almond milk and apologized for the mistake. She rudly states its almost don't being made. She and the other lady working rolled their eyes and had attitude with me. She then asked if I was lactose or not. First of all none of her business but I replied yes. I seen her pour almond milk into a cup and then go to the espresso machine. Literally 2 seconds later she hands me a drink. Kinda hard to believe she made my drink that fast. She didn't have time to mix in chocolate syrup or espresso for me to believe she remade my drink. I took it but won't be drinking it. The girl taking the orders was rude from the time i started ordering to the time she handed out my drink. Not impressed at all!!! Neither worker was customer friendly at all.
