This place has gone down hill over the last few years. We don’t come often, but everytime we do we say we won’t be back. This time is for sure the last time. We ordered fried pickles and a Buffalo chicken finger plate in hot honey. The pickles were straight trash, soggy and maybe 10 pickles in the box for almost 5$. I immeadiately take the box inside to return them. When I get back to the car my husband lets me know the plate is subpar as well. Less than a handful of fries, cole slaw everywhere, stale toast, and the fingers are the size of chicken nuggets. Not to mention we paid extra for them to be buffaloed and 2 of the 6 “fingers” had no sauce on them. I should have returned the entire meal, but there was a huge line as I left from returning the pickles and I didn’t have time to wait a second time for the return to be processed. We travel a good bit, and this seems to be a greed problem on part of the owners of the franchises in Spartanburg. The prices have doubled and the portions have been cut in half. I worked here for 6 years, so I would know. While inflation is a problem, somehow other Zaxbys in other cities have managed to still offer the same size portions while increasing prices. So all that to say, if you don’t mind paying $15 for 6 chicken nuggets, a handful of fries, and stale toast, by all means, eat here! Read moreWe have been getting robbed at the Zaxby’s on Reidville Road in Spartanburg SC. This is what the last salad looked like that I purchased from this location. It’s gotten to the point where they just don’t seem to care so now you get a bad review. In the last year in a half or so every salad has been either missing chicken or not having any toast in the order at all or looking like the salad has been just thrown in the bowl/plate. The last picture is from where I ordered my Son a grilled chicken house salad to be delivered through DoorDash to his house and when he got it half of the chicken was missing and you can clearly see where it was supposed to be in the salad. I reached out to DoorDash with a pic but I never got a response nor a refund from either establishment. We the customers are being charged so much more money for goods that we are clearly not receiving. It’s a shame what management lets happen without any improvements and things seem to only be getting worse and worse. I refuse to keep giving my hard earned money to a restaurant that insists on not making sure that their employees are giving the customer what they are paying for. Read moreFirst of all some shifts are still have delivery drivers fill up the drinks which is a DHEC food handling violation (per DHEC). Next, it takes them an hour to open the store. I got here at 10 and it's 10:30 and people are just now clocking in after being here for a while. No one has even started cooking until just now. Oh then, I've been sitting here since they opened it 10:00, obviously waiting 40 minutes for this order, a DoorDash driver walks in, waits 5 minutes, gets the order right off the bat. Somebody needs to actually manage this place before it gets shut down. This happened on 8/10/24 at 10:00 a.m. so you know who was working and who was managing. I can assure you the manager was amongst the people not doing anything. If they ask me to fill up the drinks one more time, not only am I going to continue to tell them that is a DHEC violation and their job considering there is a drink machine at the drive-thru right next to them, I'm going to call DHEC the very next time. If I was the franchise owner or the general manager I would use my recent experience as an excellent case study as to what is wrong with this place.
