If I could leave no stars this would be a first! This place has the absolute worst customer service with half the employees speak no English yet not Japanese either! Hispanic people running a Japanese restaurant in the ground! I placed an order by phone at 9:20 and they are supposed to close at 10. I arrived at 9:43 and all lights off with half of employees getting in their cars and 3 others walking or or standing around. I asked for my order and was told they didn't have it so I asked for a manager and at first he acted as if not to understand so I asked to call the owner, he ten proceeds outside calling the other disrespect phone employee who pulls up and tells me I wasn't there in time so he closed. I pointed to the sign clearly reads 10pm and he says we stop taking orders at 950! Okay then where my food it's only 946 at this time so again please call the owner and get made a face rolled his eyes and pulled off! This is a good way to soon have to shut your doors! Very sad because this was once one of my favorite places I ordered from weekly. Similar situations in the recent past but not this slack! Again totally unacceptable people! I do not recommend doing business with this establishment and would highly recommend fuji express they will appreciate your business and have been around much longer! Kind...
Read moreWent to this location on reidville road in Spartanburg SC on 05/27/2017. Ordered the food 30 minutes in advance for take out. When I returned home, I decided to eat.The food tasted horrendous, as if part of it was dropped on the floor. I thought I tasted some dirt in the shrimp. Not to mention I paid over $ 20.00 plus dollars for it. I will not be back, and I am strongly considering calling the health department on Tuesday. I don't understand, these people have outstanding reviews at all their locations, (2 in Spartanburg and 1 in Boiling Springs SC.) I highly suspect, that the management and owners of these restaurants wrote many of the reviews themselves. Do yourself and your family a favor, stay away from this place, or your may end up in the ER with a bad case of food...
Read moreI'm so disappointed in the cook. When I walked in he was taking a break. As I was walking by him I plainly seen that he took his fingers and went across his nose(not the back of his hand), not to mention he had headphones in and was taking them out of his ears on the line. He put the shrimp on the grill with a utensil, I'm sure someone will come behind him and use. I told the lady he didn't wash his hands. I could hear everything they were saying. He was like why? He took a dish cloth and started wiping his hands like that was good enough. Water and soap is supposed to be used after a break. I'm pretty sure one of his coworkers will use that same cloth for something later. I just asked for my money back. I'm so disappointed in this guy... I really liked...
