Denny's — Restaurant in Spindale

So I waited 15 min to be seated only seated after I asked is there a hostess as there is a sign says wait to be seated. While I was waiting there was no one behind me and there was ample time to get a seat. After being seated I atleast got my coffee and water I asked for 30 min later unfortunately still waiting to get my food. While I wait I have see serval folks come in no need to wait to be seated. Disappointing this is an image of my empty water and coffee cut as I still wait. Vary disappointed.

Update folks seated after me are getting there food as well. I'm not one to get angery or frustrated easily but dang that's seriously disappointing. This review is being written as I sit and wait. Let's see if food is atleast ok. 40 min I I recived my food unfortunately I was not asked how i would like my stake. I am curious if food will be cold I'm surprised it was atleast worm. I normally eat my stakes rare this one was tuff because over cooked. For my liking. Probably because I did not ask for how I wanted it cooked. I never got a refill on my water or coffee even after I got my food. Still sitting same place. For 30 min of the 40 I waited. Really sucks. I'm not normally this harsh on a review but and I'm sorry but all I can say is damn!

Final thoughts service lacking cook's even though I dont like medium well stakes that was ok thanks cooks at least you guys are trying thanks I thought after I ate maybe I'd get a dessert but I dont know if I wanna wait all that long for that. I've been to this Denny's quite a few times, and I have a favorite waiter it just happens. Andy absolutely lights up my day no matter what, and it would be a lie if I didn't say that I've requested to be put in his area. I went to Denny's Friday morning after being isolated in my house for 2 weeks, recovering from being deathly sick and then finding out that my mom needs to be put in hospice care. I was in one of those kind of moods that you just stare at the ceiling all day thinking about what has to get done but your body just can't. All I wanted was for somebody else to pour me coffee. I went to denny's knowing that they don't do stuffed French toast, but I was hungry on the last and wanted a hot cup of coffee. I was already happy to see Andy smiling when I was seated, but then his over the top help to satisfy my craving for stuffed French toast even though it was not the same it definitely hit the craving. I don't know if he could tell that I needed it that day, but every bit of his attentiveness to detail while I sat alone just scrolling my phone and eating my food was so well needed. He even brought me a to-go cup of coffee that after my 4th cup of coffee I probably didn't need but I really did. Tell me again why people don't tip 100% at breakfast? Like cmon. Wouldn’t let my dog eat here. My family and I were the only ones waiting to be seated. Restaurant was not full plenty of seating available. They kept saying “ oh we’ll seat you i a few minutes “ I asked why can’t we sit at the booth right there? I was told “ Because I don’t want you sitting there” After almost 30 minutes we were seated. The waitress taking our order was obviously messed up on something. She kept laughing couldn’t keep eye contact. We had to repeat our orders several times to her. Food comes order is messed up. Sent everything back. Food comes again. This time it’s half right. After the 3rd time it’s finally right. We had to get new silverware as the ones on table were obviously not cleaned very well. She never came back to refill our drinks or ask how we were doing. Halfway through the meal a bug none of us had ever seen in our lives was crawling up the wall. I have included a picture of this unknown insect. Soon as we saw that we left. Around 2am following morning myself and husband got very sick. My husband ended up having to go to the hospital. He was treated for food poisoning.Due to my symptoms they went ahead and treated me as well. Our friends that ate there with us got extremely sick as well. We will never go back there .
