I really wish I could write a positive review like the many others they have, but my experience was nothing but negative. My husband and I went to test drive a used suburban that the dealership had just received. There were some minor cosmetic scratches and dents that were to be fixed but we went ahead and purchased the vehicle after being told that the turn around would be quick. We even made an extra hour long trip to the dealership to sign the paperwork so they had the sale completed before the end of the month. We worked and spent a lot of time with Curtis, who talked to us about his four kids and wife, who also drove a yukon XL. He spent a lot of time talking to us about his family, saying that his kids loved his motorcycle, especially his son, Thomas, but his wife would kill him if she ever saw their kids on the back of it. He complimented my necklace that said âmamaâ and said that his wife had a similar one that said âmama bear.â He even told us that his wife wanted a fifth child but he didnât understand why because sheâs always complaining that sheâs fat. After signing the paperwork for the vehicle with Hannah in financing, we mentioned Curtisâ kids. Hannah was confused and said that Curtis didnât have ANY children. Another salesperson, Brian did. Curtis used Brianâs life while talking to us to make the sale. Huge red flag! If someoneâs willing to lie about their life story to that extent then they most definitely would lie about the quality of a vehicle to make a sale. A month went by and my vehicle continued to not be completed by the service department. Every time we would reach out to Curtis we would get no response or he would tell us that he would check and we wouldnât hear anything back. We also asked several times about getting a vehicle to drive in the meantime because it was taking a lot longer then what they led us to believe and our question was never even acknowledged. My husband and I both called and left different messages for David, the sales manager to call us back. After not receiving any call back, I called and was finally able to speak to him and discovered that David did not receive any of our messages. I let him know our concerns and he was very helpful and got back to me the next business day with an update and had the car delivered to me when he told me he would. The car wasnât cleaned out very well from being detailed, there were candy wrappers and such still left in the door cubbies from the previous owners. After two weeks, I was left without a car again as the temperature sensor and A/C stopped working and the battery died. We purchased the extended warranty and our warranty card was not put into our glove box as we were told it would be and I had to spend most of the day requesting for one to be sent to us so I could have the car repaired. Itâs been two weeks since that occurred and Iâve had to have the same issues repaired three...
Read moreFrom the first phone call, these fine Salesmen were able to assist me with Great Spirit. They seemed to become like friends as I was trading in a 2021 C8 Corvette for a step up to 2024 3LT C8. They acted as a Team, All being able to assist me on the phone or at their Dealership in Anderson, NC., 30 miles NE. from my home. The Showroom was very clean and bright, each salesman meeting me at the door for my appointment for this trade. I was also introduced to the Service Manager, and a passing mechanic and I now know where to bring my New Corvette for Service, instead of Spartanburg, or Greenville, both the same distance from home, but certainly not nearly as humble, yet serious about Sales and Service. You found yourself Entered into the computer as a Customer at other Dealerships, and not personally catered to, as at Friendship Chevrolet. At the other Dealerships, it was always so busy, due to their location in the middle of 2 large Cities. At Friendship, there was no "Hub-Bub" going on with Hard Sell Salesmen or Women, that seemed to just have their commission hanging over their head. The Team, at Friendship, from the Sale Manager to the Salesmen were always near, were always interested in answering my every question. The paperwork was clearly and efficiently explained to me so I didn't have to read all the fine print, as by this point, I felt so comfortable, that sitting with the Financial Lady, that I trusted her for each, short, but clear explanation of each form that may have had a thousand words on it. I feel, as I look back on this total experience, that from start to finish, I felt Team progress in meeting me at a Fair Trade in Value with a firm handshake, then further options, "Sport Wrapping/Stripe and Corvette R Decals" and a Car Cover that came with the Car. Trading in $90,000.00 Cars process takes time, but the Sales Manager, Salesmen as a Team made the process seamless and comfortable for me. Truly, I would have never "discovered" Friendship Chevrolet, but there has been recent Internet "Deals within 30 miles" Auto Advertisements coming up on my Computer. Thank Goodness, or I would not have thought of Forest City, NC. as having "The Best " Dealership to Browse and Buy from, as I have only driven through this City for Skiing to the North. What a nice, clean, green, sparsely populated City, and wonderful Dealership, âFriendly Chevrolet,â I have Discovered and would encourage others looking for âHonest Prices and the Best Sales People I have dealt with, to Call and/or Visit Friendship...
Read moreI want to shed light on an unfortunate situation involving my relationship with Friendship Chevrolet and the significant burden placed on my daughter. It is a tale of unfairness and disappointment that deserves attention.
When I agreed to put my credit on the line to support my daughter's vehicle purchase from Friendship Chevrolet, I did so with trust and confidence in both the dealership and the vehicle's quality. Regrettably, what we received was far from the advertised promises and assurances.
The vehicle turned out to be nothing short of a lemon, plagued with constant issues that required immediate repairs. It became apparent that Friendship Chevrolet had misled us with their claims of vehicle reliability, or worse, knowingly sold us a faulty car without any regard for our well-being.
While I bear the frustrations of having bought an unreliable vehicle, the weight falls unfairly upon my daughter. I took on the financial responsibility with the belief that Friendship Chevrolet was a trustworthy dealership, only to be let down by their apparent lack of integrity.
Not only has my daughter faced additional expenses due to the constant repairs, but their credit has also been tarnished by association with this unreliable vehicle. It is undeniably unjust that I have been forced to bear the consequences of Friendship Chevrolet's negligence and disregard for customer satisfaction.
To anyone considering co-signing for a vehicle from Friendship Chevrolet, I strongly caution against it. Their lack of accountability and willingness to rectify the situation demonstrate a profound lack of respect for their customers and their financial well-being.
No one should be made to suffer the consequences of a poor purchasing decision made in good faith. Friendship Chevrolet must be held accountable for their negligent actions and consider the impact they have on the lives of their customers and those who stand by them as co-signers.
In conclusion, I urge Friendship Chevrolet to prioritize honesty, transparency, and customer satisfaction. The burden unfairly placed upon my co-signer due to their irresponsible practices is unacceptable. Potential customers should be aware of the risks involved and think twice before trusting Friendship Chevrolet with their credit and peace of mind.
