Autumn Lanes — Local services in Forest City

The only reason I'm doing this is for everyone else's benefit. I give this place one star because you have to give it at least one star to post anything. We had a great time up until it was time to pay at the end of the night. I'll start by saying that when I called down there they told me that each game was $3 a game and a pair of shoes was $2.50. When we arrived they charged me $4.50 for a pair of shoes which I didn't really mind I thought to myself whatever the games are only $3 a piece. We had a great time, got our stuff together because the place was closing. Went to go pay and the guy told me that it was going to be $24.50 for the two games that we played. When I confronted the price of the games and how long we've been there he got to looking confused told me that he would adjust the price and said just give me 12 dollars. I told him NO, that we had already paid for our shoes when we got there and you told me that it was only $3 per game and we only played two games. AT $3 PER GAME AND ONLY PLAYED TWO GAMES IT SHOULD ONLY BE $6 PLUS WHATEVER TAXES ADDED. Plus our lane kept hanging up and made our scores off. My point being that if you take your family here watch your wallet watch your money and do your math because they will try to...

The owner of this this place is a very grungy and dirty looking lady who is so rude and nasty. I personally saw her openly talk bad about people that had just come up to the counter to buy stuff. She's ungrateful, uneducated, smells like an ashtray, and dresses like she's homeless. She was blatantly rude to a young man that the rest of the staff knew by name. He has intellectual disabilities of some kind but was very nice and she was so rude to him. He spoke to one of the other staff members and the owner lady threw her arms up and said oh here we go. Yes, the place is dirty and very run down but I could overlook that and enjoy myself if it weren't for this nasty old lady who owns the place. She needs to shower first and then get a reality check.

You see how nasty this woman is in the way that she responds. I NEVER said a date when I was there but I know who the owner is, and her boyfriend - who is awesome and could do much better for himself. Just avoid this place...

Purchased a lighter weight ball from pro shop $84 on Saturday evening, was able to get it drilled two days later!

Locally owned. Super nice staff. Rest rooms are always clean. We enjoy family time here. Food and drinks are reasonably priced and the food is good. We really enjoyed the large cheese pizza ($11) it fed 4 adults. Cajun fries are very good

James, works there, noticed I was struggling with a constant, unintentional left hook every time I rolled. He gave me some pointers on where to stand and start, then where I needed to release the ball. I was still having some struggles so he gave me his old REV wrist brace. BAM! went from scoring low 80's to 156!
