On Friday, June 6, my family of four went through the Senor Froggy drive-thru to pick up dinner to bring to a park for a picnic. We went to this Senor Froggy for the Bruchi’s options. As we were ordering, the person who took our order was very helpful. My wife got a classic cheesesteak, I got the chicken Malibu, the kids got smash burgers, and we got two orders of large fries to share. Unfortunately, the price quoted after we gave our order was increased once we reached the window.
When we got to the park, we were very disappointed to see that we had only been given one of our fry orders. With a family of four and after paying more than $40, it was pretty disheartening that there just wasn’t enough to go around. With that said, the side of fries that did make it into our order was delicious. The kids enjoyed their burgers too. However, our cheesesteaks just didn’t pack the taste and freshness that we have come to expect from the Bruchi’s brand. My chicken Malibu could best be described as dry.
Even though it was out of the way, we did go back to the Senor Froggy restaurant after we finished with our evening at the park to pick up the fries we weren’t given originally. Again, for the amount we paid, it just seemed appropriate that we were actually given the food we ordered. I went inside the restaurant to request the fries and the employee was very nice and understanding. She had the fries made immediately which I greatly appreciated. In the future, when we want Bruchi’s, we will go to a different location. I cut this location some slack knowing that they have three different restaurant concepts going at once—sometimes it is better to be great at one thing instead of average...
Read moreI used to go to the one in Coeurd'Alene all the time growing up. It was a constant hang out in the summer because it was next to Tubbs hill. The food was decently priced, the food was average, and we really liked the salsas. They tore it down and built a condo. (Of course) I rediscover Senor Froggies last year in Spokane valley, and it's a nostalgia that tastes exactly how it did 20 years ago. The prices seem fine to me, I've included a picture of the menu. I don't do Mexican style food often. I don't like taco bell. The food itself isn't fancy, it's basic, I get the Soft Pinto and cheese Burrito. They don't skimp on the cheese. They have lots of basic options for dips and salsas, diced onions. Mild/med/hot salsa, fry dip, I really like the corn salsa, with mild salsa. I love it. Sometimes when I walk in, I have to wait for a few minutes before someone comes out, they need a bell or something. I typically get my food within about 5-8 minutes, depending on the time of day. Perhaps my favorite part about coming here, is this ridiculously good Raspberry seltzer on the soda fountain. I think it's new York seltzer. This is the only place I've seen it in 25 years. There's an Italian style menu here too, but I've never tried any of it. It's good food, at a reasonable price....
Read more14 March 2019 - Stopped in to the Spokane Valley U -City store and ordered some food about 5:30 pm. Young girls at the counter where to busy talking about everything but business and seemed not very interested in my order. Well to make a long story short the girl ringing up my order got it wrong and when I said so when she brought it out to the table she said she’d have to talk to the manager who came to the table and informed me I’d have to pay the difference to make it right. ( note the manager was one of the two girls up front not doing much but laughing and fooling around) I did pay the difference cause I wanted my order and even then was not right but trying to relate to these 2 idiots was not worth the trouble. However that being said I would have fired both for poor customer service and lack of customer care. The result is I will not ever come back to this establishment nor will I recommend it to anyone. I live local to the neighborhood so I used to come there often using the drive through after work. Because of these to loser employees you lost my business. If your the owner reading this you need to tighten...
