I remember in the past Jack-in-the-Box had semi quality food that was worth money spent on. Those days are gone It seems people making $15.00 now have no intention of any detail or follow through of a customers request on an order if they even hear you trying to give them their order. Today at market Street Jack-in-the-Box at 7 PM some long-haired lady in black that was taking my order over the intercom, she couldn’t hear me and kept saying what was that more than once, more than twice, it became very annoying. So I pulled up to the window to get my order and got a different person who was sweet beyond sweet. Giving her my order I asked for some special things you know like something taken off of my burger or ordered curly fries and an unsweetened tea for a group of people, most my order was totally screwed up . Had to be fixed but still was not good. The sweet young short girl in a uniform I think really did try.
sadly it seems paying people more for doing the same job they used to get paid less for has turned this place into a bad place. I am happy that they make more money I would be happy to work there and make $15 an hour, that’s a big thing, it finally happened making a semi fair wage, good for them very happy. But let’s try to do the job we are being paid to do, since the food is costing quite a bit more now, do you think it would be a little bit better not worse than it used to be. I had hoped so. Read moreIts not even worth trying to go there anymore. Everytime I go there after work, late night they refuse to take order from the drive thru. They wil only accept online and door dash orders. I Asked the guy at the window.Are you refusing people just because you're so busy with doordash and online orders he said yup. I watched multiple cars pull in after me and then reverse out of the drive through Without Ordering anything. So apparently the customers that show up themselves Without ordering a head are lowest priority. Update 6/23/25 2am Similar story only excepting DoorDash and online orders, refusing work the drive thru because he claims he's the only person there even though saw a second person in there. Maybe the guy was Just there screwing off with him. I probably wouldn't do my job at Jack in the box either If I was the only person there at a 24/7 drive through. FIVE STARS TO TACO BELL for always doing their job. I hope the owners of Jack in the box know.But I doubt they care everytime Jack in the box refuses The drive through the cars just go to taco bell or mcds and give them their money. Read moreThe other day i went to this location, was going to go in but the Lobby was closed. So I Went through drive through. Was told she will be right with me. no cars in line at this point. 15 min wait. she FINALLY takes my order, was extremely rude. (by this time there was 4 or 5 cars behind me, when I got to the window she kept messing up my order. than as I seen my food was done and get put in a bag. some lady came some how into the lobby and stood at the door to the kitchen, the employee (LEXI is what the receipt said but could be another persons log in / she had a lip piercing and dark hair ) stopped dealing with my food and ran to the girl and gave her a hug and they talked for like 3 mins, I asked for a manager duh to waiting almost 20 mins total to order my rice bowl and food was cold by the time i even got it. The Lexi girl handed me my food and My receipt and closed the window and acted like she didn't hear me asking for a manager. I have never seen such disrespect and poor customer service, this location is going down hill. Im a company owner my self and if I had a employee act like this I'd be embarrassed and they would be gone in a heart beat. Deff made this jack in the box location look terrible.
