I ordered almost $50 of food and the majority of our order was wrong, the fries tasted like burnt oil. I wouldnât usually complain but only two items out of our food were correct. I called and asked to speak to a manager. I spoke to a man named Donovan and was told they would remake the entire order due to so much being made incorrectly. I appreciated this and thought the ordeal was over. I was wrong! When coming to get the order remade they took the order and I advised I have the receipt since it was a mobile pickup. They took down the order and the young lady who took my order and confirmed my order on my phone by viewing it was incredibly kind. She did a really great job however the same manager I spoke to named Donovan came over and complained in front of me to the young lady and staff working on our order about remaking the entire order. He said not to remake the whole order. He then gave me a dirty look and stormed away upset, he didnât say a word to me directly though (mind you he was the one who said come back and we will remake the entire order, we didnât ask for that we just wanted them to know it wasnât just one or two things wrong with the order.) I was handed the order and left. I was very polite and positive and used my manners during the interaction because I know itâs not fun having to remake an order and it can be busy and fast paced so that takes up time. I even said I would be fine with a refund when I spoke to Donovan previously. (I know what itâs like working in fast food because my first job was McDonalds so I understand the annoyance of the situation and understand mistakes happen but I also know how to handle a mistake to ensure all ends well) I even came during a time that wasnât too busy to try and ease the burden. When I opened the bags again food was missing and they got several items from our order wrong as well. The fries yet again all tasted like burnt oil and were dark. A couple of the burgers looked like maybe they did something to them so I ended up throwing everything. I didnât want to chance feeding my kids something I was unsure of. I am very disappointed in our experience. The bottom line is treat others how you want to be treated. We were kind during both interactions and that manager could have just said we will get your order together and kept a mutually respectful attitude. We didnât ask for or expect an apology but Instead he chose to take a situation that already wasnât good and make it worse. The young lady did great and acted more like a manager than he did. Iâm sure nothing will come from this but I hope it can be a teaching/learning moment for him that mistakes happen but the great part is most can be fixed and having a positive attitude only adds to the good outcome. Had he just been respectful I would have been leaving a positive review instead...
Read moreI never do this but this was ridiculous.. I Went to get breakfast this morning and ordered what I always order which was a number 4 with no egg add cheese and bacon then as I was saying with a medium mocha frappe the drive threw lady says hold on I pressed the wrong button then says mocha frappe what else I also ordered an extra hash brown and a sweet tea I pay then I go to grab my food and look at receipt and my order is completely wrong she put a McGriddle with extra bacon extra cheese I said nothing about a McGriddle nor anything about extra anything so what I got was a McGriddle bun with just a bunch of bacon and cheese on it âŚ. Iâm like ok no big deal Iâll just go back threw and have it corrected mind you they also didnât give me my second hash brown I ordered cause I ordered a number 4 that comes with a hash brown with meal right ?? Then a separate one but obviously she missed that to some how but whatever it wasnât until Iâm speaking with the lady to correct my order you hear a lady yelling in the back that I ordered a McGriddle but anyway they were fixing it so I didnât say anything and then I said to the lady fixing my Order a number 4 is a biscuit sandwich right she says yes then hands me the correct sandwich as Iâm pulling away the lady starts yelling again SHE SAID A NUMBER 5. Iâm thinking to myself like I said nothing about a McGriddle and most definitely didnât say a number 5 ..I order the same thing every time I know what number it is and STILL I didnât get the other hash brown but wasnât even about to go back threw to get yelled at AGAIN for no reason just because she didnât put my order in correct like why would I come back threw if my order was correct?? Come on now like I donât have better things to do with my time ? Lady that fixed my order was nice but the lady in the back taking the orders was totally unprofessional and definitely needs to get her hearing checked cause that was a night mare I wonât be going back to that location seems like thereâs always something wrong with the orders and god forbid if you tell them they made a mistake âŚ. Horrible...
Read moreI wanted to write a review specifically for Heather, as she deserves some recognition for doing a great job.
I don't normally eat at McDonalds these days, but every so often I'll get a curbside order for breakfast when my husband is getting home from work or getting ready to go to work since he's a truck driver and this is easy at random times of morning.
I have never really had any issues here, sometimes there's a bit of a wait but it's usually not bad. Today, Friday March 7th, I put in our order for curbside. As usual we did a count to make sure we got everything, but my husband didn't notice that one of the sandwiches was wrong. We get to his truck and sort out the food, and that's when I noticed I didn't get a mcgriddle but a sausage muffin. Not a huge deal, tho the muffin was $1 cheaper than the mcgriddle. I called them before I went to head over, and I got Heather.
Heather was so sweet. I think she was the one that filled the order, and she apologized for the mixup and offered a refund or a new sandwich. I went in and she gave me the sandwich, no issue. I did ask for another hashbrown as the original was now cold, which I did feel bad asking for, but she gave me one no problem which she did not have to do. She just seems like a happy, bright person too. Other places could learn from her - mistakes happen, but it's how you react and what you're able to do to fix it that matter. I feel like this shouldn't be a big deal, that this is what anyone would do - but I know for a fact that not all servers or fast food workers are willing, or even able, to fix issues. So, I just wanted to make sure that Heather and her supervisors/managers/whatever know that I appreciate her and that they...
