Are you tired of spending $15-20 on sub-par chain fast food? Tired of paying those prices and then getting cold fries and/or room temp burgers that cant even melt the slice of cheese on top? Then you need to go to Zip's on Sprague. They won't make your order until you place it.
Ross and his team at Zip's on Sprague turn out what I consider to be the best fast food in Spokane. Consistently hot and fresh food, friendly service, and great deals every day and week. I've been there three times in the last month and every time the food was top notch, especially the fries. Crispy, golden brown on the exterior; pillowy, creamy potato-ness inside. Delicious and consistently piping hot, once they were so fresh from the fryer that I had to eat my burger first just to let them cool down a bit.
And don't forget about the onion rings, the fish, or chicken sandwiches. Oh, did I mention the fry sauce and fantastic tartar sauce? There are so many excellent options on the menu that sometimes it can be difficult to choose what you want to eat.
Finish it all off with a soft-serve cone, or a truly decadent shake made with REAL flavors/ingredients.
Now it's true, you may have to wait a couple of extra minutes to get your food since it isn't started until you order it, but it is definitely worth it.
Give Zip's on Sprague, a locally owned business, a try before you go to one of the national chains for more overly processed, plasticky, preservative laden food(?).

Read moreI came here today before work to get some food and of course they’re closed for whatever reason, even though they should be open. Last time I came here it was hours before closing and they had the milkshake machine turned off already. Man zips used to be my absolute favorite when I was younger. After moving here a couple years ago I have been absolutely disappointed every single time. For one it’s insanely expensive compared to other places. That would be something I could put up with if the food was still good. Soggy fry’s, overpriced burgers, even the tarter sauce isn’t the same anymore. I really hope this chain can get it together because I cannot imagine they are doing good right now. Start with the simple things: crispy fry’s, being open when you’re supposed to, having the milkshake machine on when it’s store hours, and maybe lowering prices a bit at least until you get it together!! This is just not worth it for me to even try anymore. I’m hoping the owner sees this or a manager and really take in what I’m saying here. It’s the general consensus among...

I went back there to show them as I live a mile away.. ooooo plus the fries were also cold. What had happened. No apologies, an they fixed me I thought, was the right order this time. Wrong 😡, I get home again, as I open the belly buster up, not what I ordered again.. a papa Joe this time with just mayo an lettuce... sure wasn't a belly busters... as I have been going to area Zips for about 5 decades now... I thought the staff was very unpleasant an un professional.... for a senior citizen pushing 70yrs old... I have in my life never wrote a bad review... but this should be addressed to the Main Management..... as of now I will never go to that Zips in the Valley... horrible, "Word of Mouth" is the best advertisement. Kina sad I've been eating at Zips off an On from the 1960s.. Unbelievable NOW...!! A 27 Dollar RIP 0FF... real...
