Food has always been good, service is spotty, prices are a little high for a walk up order restaurant.
Update. We had continued to occasionally eat here because it's convenient, but I believe I am done. The walk up and order and then wait for your food to arrive system they use here has allot to be desired. And wait and wait is what happened tonight. Because you don't have a server, your order is at risk of either not being put through correctly, and you can't tell because you do not get and itemized receipt, or if they don't write down where you sit correctly, you may not get your food. It has almost become entertainment watching the people the bring it your food walk around hoping they are bringing the right food to the right table. Today we watched the party that ordered in front of us get their food, eat and leave, and the party that ordered after us get their food and still nothing. Now our order was complex, a large cheese pizza.
When I went back to offer to just pay for the soda, they were going to refund my money, but we then would have had to go somewhere else to get food, I asked if the order hadn't been put in, it had, it was just sitting in the back as a phone order. They got it for us, comp'ed more soda and said the owner/manager would check on what they would do. Thought we might get an apology from management, nothing. Read moreI have been to Vito's a lot over the years and I would say Friday night was the worst experience I have had there. My group of 10 sat at the pub tables in the bar area, this isn't unusual for the group bc we work close by and have done this many times before. Things started off well, but once it was time for food things went down hill and was complete pandemonium. All the food that came out was cold...pizza, poppers, subs and salads. The hot subs weren't even warm on the inside. Ordered Togo food around 6:15 and the food was not ready for another hour. The waitress didn't have any slips ready when it was time to cash out, so we had to give her a verbal to review what we had ordered. I felt bad for our waitress as she had no help, which was frustrating because I saw one particular employee walking around not seeming to help with anything. Just disappointing all around. Hoping they were just short staffed that night because we have never had an issue before, its gonna be hard to convince the group to give it a try again after the cluster we had to deal with. Read moreJust had to change rating. Was a 4 now a one! I used to eat here 2 sometimes 3 times a week. Not anymore. They screwed up my order about a month and a half ago. I ordered a Turkey sub. A NORMAL Turkey sub like I always did. Instead I'm sent home with a Turkey hot boat or whatever it is. I've never had this before in life and since this incident I have googled it and realized it is a household staple but I'm not interested in it at all. So I bring our food home ready to enjoy and watch a movie and it's all wrong just ruined my night. I call in and speak to whom I'm told is the manager and he tells me to come in the next day and he will make me a new sub just call ahead before I come. So I called they said he the manager had stepped out call back in 20-30 minutes so I wait and call back. Still NO manager. The girl I spoke to had no clue what I was talking about and by that time I didn't even want the sub anymore. I thought maybe someone would give me a follow up call being as though I'm such a good customer and spend SO MUCH MONEY with them but NOPE... I will not eat...
