Crumbl — Restaurant in York Township

Well as a treat once a month if the flavor sparks my virtual tastebuds, I curbside a cookie or two!! Lol.. But this time, for my favorite French toast cookie it was an epic fail. Hard as a rock..!! Someone must’ve forgot to check the oven and every cookie got burnt or overcooked. And rather consider the customer, and toss them.. They decided to serve them to poor undeserving customers, and I happen to be one. The peanut butter chocolate was so dark & burnt. When you opened the box you smelled the char. I called the young lady said sorry, toss those.. I can issue a refund. I said I was purchasing for a family member; so I wanted them replaced if they won’t be from the burnt batches! The young lady said sure. How long will it take you to arrive because we will have them made fresh. I said maybe 20 mins dreading the ride. But if it’s take longer you all always bake them fresh, so I’m good Cheney I come, the employee agrees. However when I arrive an hr later, they were in a box inside what was supposed to be warmer but ice cold!! And I was told after all this, no refund would be rendered. and the cold ones were my replacement and the gm says it normal practice, not to show appreciation to loyal customers. But over the phone I was told to keep the cookies and a refund would be issued. Customer service is EVERYTHING to me!! And the blatant disregard for the employees action or the less than quality service.. on 2 occasions is...

I have experienced, three times, this location being sold out of a particular cookie. It is at any time of the week. Today I ordered on my app, drove all the way to this location in pouring rain after my card had been charged for my order, and when I get there, they are out of the flavored cookie we wanted and waited to get all week. I knew deep down I was taking a risk going to this location because of past experience, and I should have drove a few extra miles and went to the West York location, but because of the weather I decided to give another try. How wrong I was. The excuse I got was it was on a Saturday evening…it was 6 PM and the location is open until 10. Unacceptable! I asked for a full refund and made it perfectly clear that this has happened too many times. Another lady in the store agreed as she has had the same issue. Do better Queensgate York Pa location…this is POOR...
