First Watch in Spring Hill, TN, has some room for improvement. I've been there 5 times since it opened, and every single time, something on an order had to be corrected. Whether it was lipstick on a cup, to a rock-hard waffle, two hard-boiled Eggs Benny, both sent back for correction, cold gravy, mixing up a runny egg and a well-done egg, it's unpredictable. Recently, my girlfriend and I ordered two meals online and picked them up from a side-door. The order was messed up, and not ready on time. Eggs were cooked incorrectly for both meals (swapped, likely), the Turkey Gravy "Buiscuits" are actually one biscuit, pulled into two halves, and the waffle was rock-hard and over-cooked. After the online order, we tried calling multiple times (no answer) and messaged them directly. It was obvious the place was understaffed. The dining room was not very busy during this time. However, nobody was answering the phone, not even taking online orders. I can't say is whether this is affected by a shrinking workforce, where there's just not enough help to hire, but I can say that nobody seems to be diligent in ensuring this location is truly successful. Maybe it's a bit of both. Either way, it's not a recipe for success, and it needs serious attention.

First Watch has a lot of options for breakfast/brunch. The food is good and the staff are friendly. We got on a 2-hour wait list the 1st time and upon arrival, we're promptly seated within 5 mins. Our server was a bit overwhelmed, which was totally understandable. They were fully booked. There was a line outside, too. We had the wrong order brought to our table more than 5 times. I assume these were other tables' orders. Our order also got messed up, though. We requested the banana granola crunch pancakes and didn't get them. They went to fix this, but brought lemon ricotta pancakes instead. We decided to leave instead of wait for them to rectify the issue. Upon checking out, I believe the manager or upper staff member got involved, because they couldn't take the pancakes off the receipt. They ended up giving us a discount and rushed to get the banana granola pancakes for take-out while sorting out the receipt. I appreciate them for trying to fix the situation. I think once they have been open for awhile and get into the swing of things, we will come back again.

First Watch first came to my attention in Troy Michigan, but I never did get there. When I saw First Watch pop up on Main Street in my new location of Spring Hill Tennessee, I knew had had another chance. First Watch is airy and clean, they have an interesting menu that still features some old favorites along with the new. I was really surprised that they serve some breakfast mixed drinks; versions of the Bloody Mary and Mimosa. Andy was our server, he was pretty attentive, checked ingredients on an item, brought coffee fast - carafe too! The food was good, not huge portions, smoked ham was delish, multi-grain toast was yum, waffle with fruit jelly made my grandson’s eyes roll back in his head, sausage link was extra large and mild flavored, the coffee was great! My only criticism would be the presence of partially chopped parsley on the plate. Food really good, atmosphere good, service great, prices exactly what you would expect. See for yourself!

Unfortunately, this was our first time to this location and it was pretty disappointing. Our overall wait time to be seated wasn’t bad (10-15 minutes), but once we were seated and ordered, we didn’t get our food for nearly an hour!! The food came to our table very slowly (2-3 plates every 4-5 minutes) and two of the plates were incorrect. My food (breakfast tacos) had obviously sat in the window for way too long under the heat lamp so the shells were a mix of over crunchy (to the point of feeling like I was eating something crunchier than a crunchy taco) or I literally had to rip apart with my teeth. The interior was cold and dry, and lacked any real flavor. Our daughter’s bacon that came out initially (she asked for sausage when she ordered) was super flimsy and overly chewy, and her pancake was also wrong. 🤦🏼‍♂️

The service was also lacking. While our waitress was kind, she was very sparse and I had only received one refill the entire time there.

At the end when we went to pay, the POS QR code system wasn’t working properly so we had to wait another 10-15 minutes for the manager to figure out what was incorrect and fix it.

I’ve had great success at other locations, but with the experience today, I’d be hard-pressed to revisit this one ESPECIALLY since there were no real apologies or explanations as to what...

If you can't go in person skip this place! Don't order food to go! They mess it up EVERY.SINGLE.TIME!

We have try to order to go meals due to Covid and our family having a medically compromised child.

We've tried to order from First Watch a few times as we enjoyed going before Covid. Sadly every time we do they mess up the order and several items are always missing!

Today we thought we would try again and ordered 2 family meals to go....Everything is nicely packaged & the bags are SEALED. We had to wait well past our scheduled pick up time. Picked up the SEALED Bags AND AGAIN when we arrived home we didn't get 1/2 our order. 1/2! We were missing 2 family fruit orders, 2 family potato orders, and 1 family bacon order. We called the said come back we will get the missing items ready. We went the 40+ Round trip back and had to wait again, meanwhile the 1/2 we did get was getting cold. When we picked up the replacement bags we counted the items in the sealed bags and assumed they corrected the error sadly when we arrived home, they still were wrong. They gave us two more toast but never gave us one fruit order and one potatoes order...waste of time and money....Again. After this, They lost our to go business indefinitely.

DO NOT RECOMMEND...
