This place has only been open for 3 days, so this review is somewhat based on the idea that some things are just going to take a little time before everything clicks. The atmosphere: it's a nice looking place, very modern and dynamic. The tabletops are beautiful and reminded me a bit of outer space. The bar literally glows; I've never seen one like that before and it's gorgeous. There's plenty of parking. My only concern is that too many of the tables are high tops with bar stools. These setups are not ideal for customers with disabilities or small children. There were low tables with regular chairs, but it's clear that that section of the restaurant is an afterthought, at least right now. The servers were using that area to roll silverware, and it was also being used to store promotional items. Also we were seated under a speaker and the music (largely late '90s/early aughts rock, which I love) was loud enough to discourage conversation. There was a nice, large stage for performances, but no one was using it while we were there. This will be a really good venue for live music. The food: we shared the jumbo pretzel appetizer. My husband had the Italian Beef sandwich and I had the fish tacos. The pretzel was delicious. It was warm, perfectly salted, and the cheese dips were tasty (especially the nacho cheese, it was a bit spicy). I enjoyed the fish tacos. The fresh mango and slaw were delicious, but the fish itself could have used a little more seasoning; it was a bit overwhelmed by the other toppings. My husband enjoyed the Italian Beef, but it wasn't quite what he expected. He ordered it without cheese, and in turn was presented with a dry, warm beef sandwich without any toppings and a cup of dip. It was closer to a French Dip sandwich, but he likes those, too, so it wasn't a problem. We didn't order anything from the bar, so I can't comment on that. The service: Our server was Alaina, and she took very good care of us. Several servers visited our table to check on us and provide refills. Cece has waited on us elsewhere, and she stopped by our table to catch up for a minute and she was happy to make a menu recommendation. Due to the soft opening, we had a reservation to dine but I don't think that's going to continue going forward. Our reservation was for 9pm, and I'm glad we showed up a little early because we had not been made aware when we made the reservation that the kitchen would be closing at 9pm. Again, I think this is only for the soft opening. But if we had showed up on time, we would not have been able to order dinner and we would have left right away. All in all, it was a positive experience and we would definitely be back if we weren't...
Read moreAs a master reviewer, I hate writing these reviews. Just to give you a little bit of context for this review. I'm a master reviewer for Google. I'm in the top 10% of all restaurant reviewers in the entire world. Have reviewed restaurants in Budapest, New York, Los Angeles & London. Some reviews are very elaborate and some reviews are very short.
I posted a review on fozy's bar stating that I had some issues with the food. The review was pretty diplomatic. I talked about how the service was good and the atmosphere was nice. My waitress was kind. But I wasn't there for the atmosphere or the waitress. I was getting a carryout order. In total I spent about $40 on food for my wife and I. When we got home we opened our food The bottom of the burger was completely wet and falling apart. The burger itself was a pretty standard burger. The top bun was a little stale but, I didn't hit them in that.
On my previous post I got a response from what I'm assuming was the owner. I gave them three stars. I feel like that was a pretty decent review score given the fact that the food was bad and that was the only reason I was there. I'm now changing my review to a one star because the response from the restaurant was blaming me for not saying anything about the food. That's not how you get people to come back to your business. I understand you want everything to be perfect in your business, even the reviews. I would have changed my review had somebody responded with concern. Instead, the response came from a place of anger and insecurity from whoever wrote it.

Read moreSo this is just for my Bday experience that happened 03/06/2024. Of course it is seat yourself, so i go into the back where there were plenty of open seating available. Well I believe they were doing the ladies night singing bingo event which is fine I love how Fozzy's always have something going on. I arrived at 20:00 did not get spoken to until 20:49. I frequent here so I already knew what I would like to eat, I always ask the wait staff what is their opinion so I did and she said the birria tacos, so that is what I ordered. The tacos could have been SO much better, not the best. Now I only received one refill from my drink the whole time I was there, and I had to use the bathroom but I know I was using my bday voucher and did not want to leave the table where they would have thought I walked out on my check (drink). She finally comes back, does not offer anything like a dessert, or a drink to go I was probably finished in under 10 minutes and looking at my time stamp on when I was finally leaving it was 21:20. I know the time stamps do not look bad, but when you are there in that moment so many things could have went different, even if you would have sent somebody to check on your table if you were busy. I still tipped well, but if somebody comes in with a voucher please do not treat them like they are bumming off free food, because we have been coming to this place (location) since they opened so please be mindful, of the patrons you serve at your...
