Dala Thai and Banquet Hall 1 — Restaurant in Spring Lake Park

Personally, I found it unappealing. Placed an order for Pad Thai / crab rangoons while I was in the area waiting to deliver to clients and was underwhelmed by it. Their pad thai has a weird overly wet texture to it and a weirdly thick noodle closer to spaghetti thickness and a far less desirable texture then the traditional 'stickiness." Was it bad? No. But it left a lot to he desired in taste and texture. I also requested no peanuts and a spicier taste and they messed that up as well. Peanuts everywhere and zero heat. Zero issues with the small Rangoons, and i enjoyed them, but ordering the pad thai was definitely a mistake so I'll make sure to try something...

We rented their banquet Hall, for my in-law blessing event. Dala Thai was very communicative with what they have and with the services they offer. The owner, responds quickly about questions that needed to be answered right away. They are able to work around with our schedule, even if it was last minute request. Their food was also amazing! Delicious! I loved their chicken wings and sliced beef laab, they were my favorite. Our event turned out great with their help and efficiency. The two main entrees ordered were pad thai and red curry. It was the worst quality, presentation, and flavor of 'thai' food we've ever had. The pad thai had no blend of umami, sweet, and sour like classic sauce does. In fact, it reminded of us mayo and slime. The red curry also lacked a balanced flavor profile. There was nobody in the restaurant except what appeared to be family/friends hanging out - odd experience. The service was good and friendly, but I left confused and grossed out...
