I’ve always liked the food from this restaurant, but after my recent experience, I’ll never order from them again. I placed an order directly through the restaurant, which used DoorDash for delivery. The order cost nearly $40, but it was canceled because the delivery driver couldn’t access the military base.
When I called the restaurant for a refund, the first lady who answered rudely told me they don’t do refunds and hung up on me before I could even explain my situation as a customer. I called again later that night, and while the guy who answered was much nicer, the outcome was still the same. He told me it was out of their hands and to take it up with DoorDash. DoorDash, however, said it was the restaurant’s responsibility.
Neither DoorDash nor the restaurant took ownership of the issue, and now I’m out $40 with no food. It’s frustrating how poorly this situation was handled. If you can’t pick up your food yourself, I wouldn’t recommend ordering delivery from this place unless you’re willing to lose your money like I did.
Update: I appreciate your response, but I need to clarify several things. This was my first time ordering, and the delivery was canceled. I chose delivery because I couldn’t pick up my food, which is why this situation is frustrating. The delivery driver should not have accepted the order if they didn’t have access to the installation, as the address clearly shows where the delivery was intended to go. This responsibility should not fall on the customer.
Additionally, I have screenshots of my total, which came to about $40, as well as the cancellation notice. If delivery isn’t available, it shouldn’t be offered as an option. This kind of misleading practice could potentially violate Federal Trade Commission (FTC) guidelines.

(we haven’t been there for at least 4 months so I am 100% confident that was not true). You offer to show it to us, yet when we showed up you said it would take too long to find it. We offered to wait until you find it or coming back once you’ve found it, but no, you’ve chased us out and banned us. You like calling people lairs but here you are lying and deceiving. Because of the lack of accountability from the owner, I’ll be more honest with my review since I wanted to spare some of the details. The place is very humid and most surfaces are sticky and gross feeling. When entering, you are immediately hit with the unpleasant smell of dirty mop water (which is interesting to note since a previous review said their food tasted like dirty mop water). The tuna in the rolls I ordered was clearly not fresh and frozen because the meat was extremely cold and completely saturated with water as if it was quickly defrosted.
