Dunkin' — Restaurant in Spring Township

I recently visited the Dunkin' Donuts located inside the Walmart at 2101 Gateway Center Dr on Sunday, August 8, 2024, and unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired.

I ordered a simple hot coffee, but it took over 10 minutes to be prepared. During this time, no updates were provided, and the customers behind me were served before I even received my coffee order. I had to walk up to the counter and ask for my coffee, only to find that two associates seemed unsure of how to help, despite an empty cup sitting right in front of the coffee pot. It took a third associate to finally get my coffee ready, but to my disappointment, it was only lukewarm.

When I asked why the coffee was not hot, I was informed that this was how they serve it. While they did offer to make a new one, the associate’s response was quite indifferent, and there was no acknowledgment that the coffee might not have been served at the right temperature.

It seems that the staff could benefit from additional training, as they appeared uncomfortable handling a busy influx of customers, leading to unnecessary delays and a less-than-pleasant experience.

Going forward, I will be visiting the other Dunkin' location in Belvidere instead. If the Walmart location doesn’t step up its game, it wouldn’t be surprising if more customers start opting for the second location as well. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and makes the necessary...

Have gone if for coffee here for years. I enjoy Dunkin. However, this site has some issues. Very poor organization and signage for customers, the interior is looks like it is not cared for except for behind the counter, staff is not always concerned with customer, parking is horrible and there is no drive up. Today, I did a first mobile order at this location. When you go in for a mobile order there is nothing to tell you where to pick up your order. I assumed you go where you go when you order inside. WRONG! When I people ordering after I got there were getting served, I walked up and the young lady asked if I needed help. She told me that you got your order by the register, which is at the far end of the counter. She went over and picked up a bag and a coffee, the receipt and gave it to me. I assumed there was only one mobile order. I left, went to the car and open the sack, looked at the receipt and it was not mine. Went back in and discovered a customer waiting for them to find her order. Guess who had it? They made her a new coffee, since I had put a straw in it. Handed me my order after asking my name and proceeded to make the other ladies coffee. On my way out, I realized that I still had the other receipt and didn't get one for my order. Ordered Dunkin through Door dash today, awful. The egg, sausage,cheese wrap which shows in a tortilla wrap, came in some white hard shell, smaller than a taco at Taco Bell. I ordered potato rounds, I got 6 little rounds. Not worth the price I paid. The roll I wanted was out of stock I guess, they replaced it with a chocolate donut, with chocolate frosting, and Caramel drizzled over it, except the caramel ended up all over the paper and paper bag. I then ordered an Iced Coffee, with cream, coconut shot, mocha, and sugar. The coffee was so strong couldn't taste the coconut or mocha, and I don't think they added sugar.
