Rosati's Pizza — Restaurant in Spring Township

Update: we were contacted by Kathy from Rosatis who apologized for our previous experience and offered us a gift card amount held at the restaurant and asked us to give them another chance. We just got done having dinner there tonight. Very much improved!!!!! Wait staff was much better, very enjoyable experience tonight. Unfortunately, my husband went to update his original post on our previous experience and Rosatis had asked the administrator of the What's Happening in Belvidere FB page to remove his negative post. That is inexcusable. That is white washing fb reviews. He was simply stating how his previous experience was, there was no cursing and wasn't insulting anyone just simply stating his experience and they had it removed. To add further insult to injury, because he posted his issues with the administrators of the What's Happening in Belvidere FB, they have now blocked him from this page. Truly shameful that people can't accept a negative experience as a chance for improvement but to try to erase it. Rosatis also tried to contact Google to get my negative post removed, but was unsuccessful....Yay Google Reviews!!! Truly shameful!! So even though we did have a good experience there tonight I will not be back knowing that this is the kind of business practices that they have. I am done with Rosatis!!! Wish I could give negative stars!!!

Terrible service. Waitress came took our order and brought our food. Didn't come back to check on things, or refill drinks. Just came back to leave and pick up check. Truly sad that they think this...

I consider Rosati’s a “special occasion pizza.“ We order Pizza a couple of times a month, and as much as I do love Rosati‘s, I can’t really justify spending that kind of money very often as it’s one of the most expensive pizzas around. But I DO splurge perhaps once a year. (Sometimes only once every few years honestly.) I used to get it more frequently when it was a bit less expensive - plus they also used to have coupons, which would help. (If they do still have coupons, I never see them personally.) Anyway, in summary, I’ll just say that I absolutely love Rosati‘s of Belvidere and would buy their pizza exclusively if I had an unlimited pizza budget, haha. My go-to pizza is their double-dough with double sausage, fresh garlic added. Absolute perfection… I consider that my desert-island-pizza. In this particular case, I got a double-dough with Italian beef, sweet peppers, and fresh garlic. Truly incredible. Thank you, Rosati‘s of Belvidere, for a perfect pizza. As I've NEVER had bad food from Rosati's, this experience surprised me. I've not ordered in some time, as money is limited and they are more expensive, yet we were wanting something great, so decided to order a deep dish, bread sticks, and family salad. Bread sticks.. awesome. Salad.. peperroncinis I had to throw away, and the dressing was a thick oil that I didn't use (not a normal italian dressing I'm used to, obviously), but other than that the salad contained fresh ingredients and was good. Pizza.. gross! Tasted like something was spoiled. I did eat about 3 and a half hours after the order, but leftover pizza is one of america's favorites. As this order was $60, I called, and was told you had to eat deep dish pizzas right away, or they could taste bad..!? Although I disagree with this logic, Rosati's manager gave a credit for a new pizza. Although i won't any longer order deep dish from them, the willingness to fix the issue was appreciated, and will keep an open mind to choosing them again...
