I hate to write this review but I have been coming to this place for the better part of the last 6 years. I live in SoCal and when I come to Vegas, this use to be the first place we would eat because the food use to be great, service was excellent, and price was amazing. They also use to open 24/7. However, the last few times we've been coming here the service and food quality has gone down and the prices have gone up. The last time I came here with my family (wife, 6year old, and 11 month old) 7/15/21 the wait staff is mostly new but I recognized a few faces. We orderd the our usual couple set, seafood tofu stew, & cold spicy noodle. The food was not bad except when they brought out our tofu stew. The tofu was all mashed and looked like it went through a large strainer. I ask the server about it and she said that is how it has always been. I told it wasn't been like this before and then she said it's because they make the tofu in house. I informed her I have never in my life (42) been served mashed tofu and any other place would serve it with silken or soft tofu. The server said she would take it off our bill which she didn't. At this point my wife and I looked at each other and realized we will never come back to this place again. The server gave me a half hearted apology. You know when you get that apology but they have that Asian attitude. I get it, there is a pandemic going on and people are going to on edge but you have to treat those that support you even better now than before. Also, I did not feel safe sitting so close to the other table around us. With all the exceptional Korean BBQ places around Las Vegas, I don't think we will be coming here again. Kind of sad as it was a custom for us to check in at the Wynn, drive down to Lee's to get our Kbbq fix, head over to Greenland market to get snacks for the kids and kick off our Las Vegas vacation. Now we will be looking for another place to start our...
Read moreFirst time in this restaurant and here are my thoughts. The food was decent, so two star there. But customer service was bad. I got my menu right away which is good but it took a while to get my water. Now I must say, there were four waitresses and not that many customers serve. I've been waiting for probably about 15 minutes before I had to wave down a server to get my order. Not a good sign. On another note, after I ordered my food, a couple came in and waited forever and no server even brought them water. After them, a group of four came and sat down. That group of four received their beer and rice wine with no worries but that couple received nothing, I think the waitresses forgot about them. They left pretty angry and openly expressed their displeasing customer service experience. As all this was happening, I'm basically done eating and siting around again hoping the waitress notice I'm done. Obviously not, so I wave them again. I'm going to say this again, there were 4 waitresses and about 6 or 8 tables to serve. Not too tough to handle. I figured i should add this too, as I left the restaurant, a family of 3 has been waiting over 15 mins or so it seems without a menu or water. Idk if they're purposely trying to ignore customers but need to up their...
Read moreThe restaurant is pretty big with a decent sized parking area. They're in a strip mall and connectsd to a grocery store. The ladies who worked there were really sweet. They're definitely what you would call, Auntie's. We ordered food right away and the food came out right away. They were quite attentive as we went there fairly early in the morning. There was two other tables there. The food quality was sub-par. The pork belly was my favorite. The brisket was questionable. My favorite thing was that steamed egg (hard to mess up in my opinion) and the bibim nangmyeon. The bibim nangmyeon was perfect for this hot weather. The portion size was just perfect, especially for an AYCE place. I was hoping this place woukd be been better since it's highly rated and been around for some time. The kimchi jigae was kind of a bust. It tasted like tomato soup with kimchi added to it. The banchan was decent. Had a good variety. The kimchi had some off taste to it. Not sure if it was homemade, but it didn't set the mood right. There are plenty of other Korean bbq places that you can checkout. This place was nice because it's not your typical place near the strip. I did enjoy that it was a little further out. I would recommend going elsewhere...
