UPDATE::: This is my goto place for banchan but recently the Japchae and Seasoned Aster was not as good! The Japchae was salty and doesn't even taste like a Japchae they used to make! Seasoned Aster went bad after a few days! Not going back😭😭😭 I guess I'll have to start going to HMART.
Love coming here! Las Vegas needs to build more korean groceries! I can never go to this area without going inside Greenland. There's a food court, my fave tteokbokki with ramen and cheese or maybe freshly wrapped kimbap. But wait, before you hit the food court, The grocery also makes fresh food daily stocked all the way in the back against the wall. Sometimes food still warm. My fave pollack omelet kept in the warmer. Lots of banchan! It's good that they cook the stuff they sell so it doesn't go bad. It's not cheap but worth it if I'm short of banchan at home. But still cheaper than the Banchan Korean grocery store in the corner (their serving is half of what you get at the grocery for the same price🤭🤭); there's also a bakery where I get my rice cake donut with red bean, omg taste just like the one I get at the Dongdaemun market in seoul korea. Lastly, freezer section, make sure it's not expired!!!...
Read moreThis security lady wearing a red shirt parked illegally on the space right next to a disabled parking where we are supposed to load and unload my son’s wheelchair. When we first parked in the spot, the space was clear so we were able to unload my son with his wheelchair from the van. However, when we are about to leave, her car was already there blocking the space and when she came out, instead of moving her car, she instead started arguing with us saying that, that’s her “parking space” and forced us to moved our van instead. I could’ve easily had her car towed since she was parked illegally but did not really want to keep my son waiting out in the sun. Tried to call management to file a complaint but was told by the manager that it is not her “area” to handle complaints like that. Very unhappy with the disrespect and unprofessionalism displayed by both the security and...
Read moreGood sized Asian store focusing orimarily on Korean products, but a good assortment of other items including US items that are popular in Korea. My main irritation with this store has to do with trying to figure out how much things cost. First, many of the price tags on the shelves do not corrospond with the items just above it. Half of the discrptions on the tags are in Korean so good luck if you can't read it. Second, some items are in piles. Sure, it is a good way to highlight sale items. Problem is, there are no price tags or only 3 tags for 7 different items. So keep an eye on the price scanner when checking out. Nothing like getting home and finding out you paid way more for something you thought was a great deal. Overall, the store is okay. This is where I buy my kimche in the...
