First of all, thank goodness for a non-smoking local bar to open in our SW neighborhood. This is a blessing to many of us non-smokers who want to go home and not take a shower because we smell like an ashtray. Secondly, every employee here is so friendly, and professional and cares about each customer that walks in the door. I certainly can't say that about the other chain gambling bars that are close by and I've been to quite a few of them and stopped going to them. I've been here six times since their opening and I've not been disappointed at all. Kudos to the following employees who have waited on me. Kat was the first food server/waitress that served me and made me feel at home. She was so polite, professional, outgoing, and friendly that she made me want to come back and be a regular customer. I haven't seen her the last few times so I hope she hasn't gone elsewhere. I've had the pleasure of visiting RH two times this past week. Both times I was pleasantly greeted at the entrance by Anna with a huge smile and an outgoing friendly personality. After talking to her, what an asset she is for this business. More young adults should meet and learn from her work ethics and values. She will go a long way and be successful in life. I certainly hope that management recognizes what she has to offer at such a young age. I also had the opportunity to meet Patrice (spelling) and I later found out that she is the manager of this bar/restaurant. Once again, she was friendly, outgoing, attentive and professional. She certainly sets the example and tone for the employees who work at the RH. I get the impression that she runs a tight ship. Now to the food. I've ordered everything from hamburgers, Philly sandwich, Philly fries, shrimp tacos, chicken wings and dynamite rolls. Not once was I disappointed. The way the meals were prepared, presented and tasted, makes me want to come for breakfast, lunch, and dinner just to taste all of the meals they have to offer. So kudos to the chefs who work out of sight and preparing all of these tasty meals, you're doing a wonderful job. Thank goodness I'm single and I love not cooking my meals and going out to to eat all of the time. So for all of you/us sports fans. There are more than enough televisions that are strategically located to view from any seat in the house and numerous seats to choose from. There is the horseshoe bar with slot machines and a few seats that don't have countertop slots. Plenty of high-top tables around the bar, booths around the parameter, and then the lower seated tables with nice padded comfortable chairs. No matter where you sit, you'll have a nice view of a television to view sporting events. Lastly to the owner of Rustic House, you have a winner. Thanks for opening in our neighborhood and thanks to your wonderful employees that make you look good and to give us a wonderful place to relax and unwind. Keep up...

Read moreMy husband frequents the restaurant and today we asked for a favor. I just had surgery this morning on my hand so I cannot cut anything especially steak so we asked if we could have the stake and lobster special to go. They said NO, that was just the policy. I will never go back there again. This was a one time favor and my husband's there at least twice a month along with the friend part of the time. That's what a manager is for to ask for exceptions. And somebody couldn't even do a favor after having a hand surgery and can't go out or cut my own steak. I think this was a horrible decision and a one time favorite couldn't be done. So I think they are horribly run and yes they're prices have gotten ridiculous. If anybody has any compassion, please stay away or please write a review on your experiences. I know they're not always bad as mine, but this is my 19th surgery. And they couldn't even accommodate one day, very sad. I'll only able to write this because I using microphone if anybody is wondering. I have carpal tunnel in both hands, so the microphone...
