Cosmic Cowboy Lounge — Restaurant in Spring

Well, we are 0-2 on this place, and it's really a shame - it could be so much better with the food and drink quality they have. We live in Benders and could go here 2-3 times per week if they could get their service together. Our first visit - our table (and another nearby) outside had their food orders "lost" and waited over an hour before it was discovered - the owner explained a computer glitch and comped both our bills - well done and worthy of a second chance. That chance came tonight. Once again, it took forever to get our food, which was good quality/taste, just had to wait 50+ minutes with a house half full on a Friday night. When the bill came, we were overcharged on two of their wines (bill price did not match menu price). The server fixed one of the mistakes, and it just wasn't worth us waiting any longer to get it right. The servers are all pleasant, but clearly the kitchen and servers are overwhelmed, even at half capacity, and they apparently can't square their menu prices with their bill. People had to keep coming up to the bar to get drink orders and the kitchen just took far too long. Overall - good drink and food, just get the service together and you'll have a couple of regulars recommending the place instead of leaving disappointed twice in a row. I've been wanting to try this place out for a while now and finally had a chance to go by there. Unfortunately, they weren't even open during business hours. I tried calling several times hours before driving up there. No one answered so I assumed they were just busy. I made sure to check their hours on Google and their website to make sure they didn't change their hours. I even checked their Instagram just to be safe. I'm a burger fanatic and I was really excited to try their burgers, it's frustrating that I had to waste my time and gas in order to find out that they were closed. Myself and a few friends had a couple of hours to be adults while the kids had their own thing to do, so we decided to give this place a visit. Overall, the place is clean, the staff is attentive, and the food was pretty good.

The first drinks my wife and I ordered were margaritas. It really tasted like tequila and ice, not super pleasant tasting to either of us. I ended up ordering a second drink that was much better. The food was ok but I don't think it was worth the cost. The drinks where $10 each and they weren't very big either.
