Urban Chislic — Restaurant in Springdale Township

IF YOU WANT YOUR FOOD, DO NOT EAT HERE!!! The worst management/ownership I've ever seen. Shortly after they first opened, we placed an order, waited 30 minutes as (including 20 minute drive) to get our food When we got there, they had given our order to another vehicle. They said to wait 20 minutes and they would remake it. No discount, no credit towards future purchase, nothing. Now today, we decided to give them another try. We placed an order online an hour ahead of time. Drove the 20 minutes again, and we get to the window to get our order and are told they are out of rice. Then told they are also out of french fries. Both being the only two sides we had ordered. Demanded refund and asked the manager why you they ask for our phone number on order if they can't even give us the courtesy of a phone call to tell us this before we wait and drive. They offered to give us anything else as sides, but I would have still had to make rice at home and wait for it. They did not offer a discount, credit, nothing. The worst management and ownership ever. Will never visit again, an so far everyone I've told says they will not go either. As DDD episode airs, will leave a comment there since they did not...

I'll give it a 5, with the understanding that it was their 3rd day open, so I figured service was going to be a little bumpy. If this was a year in, I'd probably go with a 3 or 4. They were slammed, but honestly, the food came out fairly quick. I got a large order of beef chislic with the kettle chips. The chislic was seasoned with their house seasoning and I got ranch as a dip. Their house seasoning was great. Really kicked up the flavor. The chislic was a good medium cook. Just the way I like it. The chips were good too, but fairly standard for a kettle chip. Honestly, the best part of the whole meal was the cheese balls my wife ordered as an appetizer. Man, I would go back just for those! My wife got the pork wontons which were quite good as well. Overall, I will go back, and I hope some of the early opening jitters go away. If they can nail down a solid, quick service while keeping the food quality and taste, they'll definitely deserve this 5. It was a little on the spendy side...but we did get an appetizer and I ordered a delicious Fernson Lion's Paw beer, so it was in line with what I would expect...

What's going on Urban Chislic? We get take out several times a month from you. Always bone in wings. The quality has been extremely inconsistent as of late. Size and quality. Last month, I think the fry cook left them in the fryer for an hour 😅 But, tonight no one answered the phone when we called to order so we simply drove there and were going to simply place our order at the window and wait. Except when we got there, there was no one in sight inside the restaurant. We rang the bell. Waited 5 minutes. No one. Didn't see any wait staff but all of the tv's were on. Parking lot had a few cars....Bummed we drove there and couldn't give the wings one last shot....but atleast we know we can take you off of our dining out list:(

Called at 6:40 rang and rang. Called again at 6:47. Same thing. Pulled up to window at 6:54. Sat for several mins before ringing the bell. No one was in sight. Not one server ever came to the the kitchen for food etc.. the booths were empty. Waited 5 mins after ringing the bell before we left. Parking lot had a handful of...
