La Huerta - Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Springdale

First of all the server was new but none of this was his fault. He was actually quite nice. The food here was not up to standards not even by the company standards.. I've eaten at La Huertas before and the food was great but this location was horrible.. I ordered the fajitas steak. The steak was dry and the veggies were way over cooked. My wife got tacos al pastor and she liked them but the sour cream had a hair in it. So she ended up not eating but the one taco out of four. I ate my food just cause my great grandma wasn't the best of cook and she Burnt everything so I'm use to it. My kids ate the chicken strips and fries they liked it. My daughter order sweet tea and got unsweetened tea. We brought it to our servers attention and he went back to get her another glass. He brought her back another glass of unsweetened tea.It turns out no one put sugar in the sweet tea container.My wife also originally ordered a Jamaica which is a drink made from hibiscus flowers.. she tasted it but she said it tasted like mold so they probably don't wash the container they probably just spray it out. Needless to say she ended up getting lemon water. Here is why I gave it a 1 star.. So when it was time to pay she saw that the server charged her for both her food which she did not eat and her drink she did not drink. So she asked to speak to the manager . The manager refused to come to the table and told the server he could take off the drink but not the food.. she told him she wasn't paying for it.. lucky for us the night manager came in and took...

Very disappointed with the food and service.As soon we walk in the server was playing with the hostess not even welcome us ,we not even know what our server name was he never introduced himself,we ask questions about some menu Items ,he was completely lost,I ordered my food when the food arrived my food was not what the menu says they bring avocado slice when the menu says guacamole ,trust me I know the difference between,my food comes with tomatoes and pickles onion and i read the menu very carefully before i order my food,our server never shows up to make sure our food teste good or not.He finally decided to check on us and I was hungry but my food was Disgusting I asked for the menu, and he brought it and I ask him why my food can’t wait tomatoes, and pickle onions if I read the menu very carefully, and the only answer he gave me, was they do for a better presentation. My daughter and I went Saturday and sat outside. We picked our table and was given our menu. A few minutes later someone came and sat chips and salsa on the table without saying a word. We looked over the menu picked out what we wanted and began to wait. We sat there for 20mins and still no waiter came out. I went inside and found someone to see if we could get some service. A waitress found out waiter how was sitting at a table with another worker. He got up and walked away. I stood there for 5 more mins asked another worker if they could wait on us. She looked at me funny then asked how many in our party. At that time we decided it was best to just leave because it was clear they had forgotten about us. If it took over 30mins to just find a waiter how long would it take to get drinks or food? Also my coworker came to work today and told me how it took them over 15mins to get someone to wait on them as well. Clearly time management is something that needs to be addressed because they where not busy...
